I am going to assume Florida has some decent talent on paper, but did the staff make and changes to personnel? Feels like Florida was due for a handful of terrible coaching moves every game that cost them.
Terrible playcalling, unorganized, etc…if I’m Florida I ride with him if the team makes strides and manages a bowl with that schedule

Saban would have won NC in year 2 at Alabama if they don’t lose SECCG to Florida. He had to wait til year 3 to actually win it. His cupboard was pretty bare of talent when he took over for Shula. There were some top players, but no depth, which showed mightily in year 2. By year three alabama had talent and depth.

Billy won't get the time. Florida has been on this sojourn for much too long to be patient. It's been a decade and a half since Urban Meyer set the bar, and so far, no one's even close to that rarified air.
