Assuming Florida can get their NIL together they are a far far better place to be a coach

Let's not get into this which job is better BS again.

I think everyone is now satisfied or content with who they have.

Buster Faulkner is on a big rise. Will be interesting to see if he gets a HC job soon. And will be also interesting to see how Florida does without him.

They'll likely experience a GT-like drop off in production.

Fun fact:

The first offensive coordinator job for both Faulkner and Kade Bell was at Valdosta State.

While Faulkner could make more money at UF, would a couple of winning seasons as a G6 head coach open the door to a better P4 job than being the OC at Florida?

I don't think so, no. Think about Dan Quinn, who was a UF DC who jumped to NFL DC and two years later NFL head coach. You don't make that kind of move from a G6 HC position. At best it's a lateral move, and even then your profile is a lot higher as an SEC coordinator than as a G6 HC. Look how many people saw him calling plays for UF against Auburn and think about how few would see him walking the sideline at a G6 school.

In the last cycle, Florida and Auburn both hired G6 head coaches rather than coordinators. Ole Miss did, but they promoted from within.

Lebby is the most recent coordinator without prior HC experience that I recall being hired in the SEC.

The Florida job is a better job.
In fact, Florida may be the best job in the SEC.

Golesh will either get us back, or he will be fired with a big payout in a few years.
