My favorite quirk of A&M fans is ranking their education and money and grass and land and research.........when debates about Titles come up.
Well I am glad you like that because we plan to continue.

You fricking were dying to go to Omaha 2 months ago in College Station.
Sure it would have been nice to win a national title in baseball. There is no fricking way I would brag that we "won a title in a Big 3 sport" like LSU fans like to refer to it. Honestly the women's basketball title is worth more to me.

If I knew my team would get shut out of a title game held in their own, state, I wouldn't wanna go.
And I'd be angry if that happened and deflect my little heart out.
But that's why lsufan is around, and for that, we thank y'all
I bet you would totes give up an SEC Championship.

Just when people want to compared overall athletic department success. like in my signature. Then they matter as a metric.

The argument from several LSU posters has been "not without our talent". What more do I need to prove? Chavis himself said the talent is there.
What are you talking about? You literally just proved you don't have LSU's talent overall or in the LB core, which is funny considering how thin they are there, and in the secondary.

I mean, if A&M wins this year then LSU fans have to accept that maybe LSU DID downgrade in coaching. Maybe A&M DID buy the secret to LSU success because your AD was too cheap to pony up $200k. Maybe Les Miles really IS almost out of rope, which means the golden age for LSU football could be at an end.
This is actually pretty spot on. Should aTm manage to pull the upset this year, I'll probably focus on balancing my checkbook, changing my oil, and mowing the lawn for a few weeks.

How about you look a series history and see where you stand vs where we do against them before running your mouth.
Yeah because all that history when they were a national power in the 1960s really fricking matters today.
I look at the SEC record vs Arky and I see 3-0. That is good enough for me. Should be good enough for LSU too vs A&M, but yall are obsessed with us for some reason.

And everybody in cfb knows the only reason you aren't a pimple on the SEC's arse right now is because of a J and ends with Manziel.
That doesn't even make sense, JFF is gone and he didn't win something like a title that gives us lasting victory.
The reason we are more relevant now is because we absorbed the powerful SEC brand and superimposed it over our own kinda crappy brand while OU and Texas went off to eat at the Big 12 kids table. JFF just accelerated the process a few years, eventually even without his success the SEC would matter more in the state which would make us matter more.

The last time Kevin Steele coordinated a defense, his unit gave up 70 in the Orange Bowl to an offense coached by a Kevin Sumlin disciple.
I feel pretty good about that hire honestly.

Aggie Handbook: Debating LSU fans (Article 3, Page 4).
When you have nothing left to argue because the team you represent doesn't measure up to LSU's team. Throw out terms such as: poor, greasy, back-asswards, Katrina, or any swamp animal. Then exaggerate about how much money your school has
same shite, different year with you Aggies.

Just to add some rational thought to this thread....
1. It was a good hire for A&M.
2. LSU was stale with him at DC.
3. Sumlin didn't say he expected to beat LSU with Chavis on their sideline, I'm sure he just views it as a move in the right direction.

Don't forget the part about him calling plays from his days with the Carolina Panthers 15 years earlier. I guess that isn't concerning though

But you aren't more relevant you thought you were.........real life is taking effect........even with recruits in your own state

No I am not. Women's college basketball is a actual competitive sport and is a real feeder for the WNBA. It gets higher ratings than college baseball on average and showcases what often becomes the WNBA's best talent.
College baseball is the afterbirth that is left over once minor league AAA teams clean out all the best talent. It is basically a club level sport which at most places exists for the benefit of providing an activity for students athletes but for some reason at LSU is put on a pedestal like it matters.
Its nothing to be self-conscious about, Yankee teams do the same thing with Lacrosse and Hockey. Its easy to overrate what you are good at.
