Texas stadiums love our Bevo! Past time we move the Championship game out of that Bevo hating chintzy foreign German car stadium in Atlanta…

So exactly where does arkansas fit?

Arkansas has been very competitive in basketball and baseball, even winning the natty in basketball in the 1990s. Mizzou can’t say that.

Never forget the people of South Carolina sided with the British when we were fighting for our independence.

Serious question for Mizzou…..are you going to be content being in the SEC over the next 30 years? Sure, you are cashing checks but I see you as another Arkansas. Arkansas has been in the SEC for 30 plus years. I cannot envision them ever winning the SEC. They made the championship a couple of times (like you did early), but both of you were heavy underdogs who got beat soundly.
If you were in Big 12, you would make the playoffs at a consistent rate.
So, the existential question you have is: do I just want money or do I want success/exciting memories of great seasons?
If it’s just money, then enjoy the next 30 years of being a second rate SEC competitor

last summer we spent a week at Lake of the Ozarks. All I saw was Chiefs, Cardinals gear and for college a ton of Arkansas, OU, Ok State and even LSU.

I saw 1 Mizzou piece of gear for every 10 other school

Great question and refreshing response compared to the LSU/Arky drivel in this thread.

So to answer the only intelligent response thus far I would say we will be happy for years cashing those big checks. Second part of your question regarding your assertion of no exciting memories of great seasons, and being second rate in the SEC.

I already have some great memories of great seasons. Earning trips to the SEC Championship Game twice in a very short time in the SEC doesn't really equate to "second rate". Mizzou has had 4 10 Win seasons since joining the SEC. That is more than Auburn, South Carolina, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Miss State, Tennessee, A&M, and Vanderbilt during the same time.

Maybe a fair compromise would be that misery is the "least worthy" of the aforementioned schools?

I vote for the team with the 0.250 all-time record in SEC conference games.
