Ya'll hadn't been to one in three years after having gone to three in four years. I really thought this would be a bigger deal for Florida, particularly considering yall's new coach. Very Florida State/Miami esque.

I told all you frickers who were arguing back and forth about who is going to the better bowl how stupid you were. We have been to the most BCS bowls in the conference and also have the most BCS bowl wins.

I am sure it would have helped our attendence if it were in Orlando or Miami as opposed to New Orleans, but still meh.

Invite Utah to major bowl, expect all 1300 "fans" to attend. WHo would have thunk it? Sugar and Orange are screwed by these idiotic matchups.

The sugar bowl matchup was fine, Two relatively close respectable universities with supposedly proud fanbases. Florida just didn't show up, literally or figuratively.

Sugar Bowl announced crowd of 54,178 is the game's worst since 1939 and smallest ever for a BCS bowl.
I'm completely shocked that the Orange Bowl had more than this???? Are you sure?

The official announced attendance was 72,073 at 78,000-seat Sun Life Stadium. But there were probably no more than 50,000 to 55,000 at the game.

Florida doesn't travel well it is really that simple. According to the Rick Niehausel (SP) and Sirius guys they have not played a regular season game outside state of Florida in a decade. I think that is actually true. When fans get used to never having to travel out of state they get spoiled.

Then you are dumb and wrong. In past 10 yrs UF has traveled to Bama, LSU (u mean you didnt know that red stick isnt in Fla?), Arkansas, SC, UK, Vandy, AU, Texas A&M, MSU & Ole Miss.
