Keep seeing aggy fans post this, mostly the newbs/alters, but it’s all the same.

First off, it’s not these actual posters with the deep pockets, so they’re essentially dickriding some old businessmen. Furthermore, did I miss where this was a sport? The last 3 years have seen Georgia, Bama, and LSU win a title. The BCS era saw Florida, Auburn, and Tennessee also win rings.

Has aggy not been rich this whole time? If so, why is it that the last conference title brought home to College Station was in 1998?

Logic would say that aggy is as close as ever, but oddly enough, you’re still coming off of the 8&4feit season. No other school would consider this close.

That leaves us with “sucks to be poor.” Is any Bama, Georgia, LSU, Florida, etc fan supposed to really buy into that? The shite that fanbase takes pride in is…weird to say the least. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

I do not often share your sentiments but this could not be truer and I actually came here to post this. These internet blowhards mean absolutely nothing. Their opinions are often asinine drivel. “We should kick stoopid Aggy out of the conference.” That is some top notch idiocy. Not one athletic director, school president, booster or otherwise gives ANY credence to what some douche on the internet thinks. Go ahead and prove your mental deficiency below by downvoting or calling me triggered or melting, I laugh at you as this is truly just entertainment. I can’t wait for football to start

You do realize if we try to actually have a real conversation on here it’s meaningless bc that’s impossible. Goal posts are just moved, deflection, attacks, whatever.

Now I’m not one that makes the statement sucks to be poor but I get why other Aggies do it on here.

Well if they are not going to have a real convo anyway, screw it, let’s just state this, go along with their BS but high lite it’s actually their issue.

So I guess all the Bama/LSU/Georgia posters on here were actually on the team and won championships

Show me another school that tore down their entire stadium and rebuilt it and paid cash for the rebuild from donors.

Name one. I’ll hang up and listen.

And the reason A&M wasn’t successful in the past is because we know full well we can’t use our money to pay recruits. And for the most part we didn’t. Others did. We tried once and it cost us a coach. So we built an enormous compliance department and now have lawyers check everything.

Now it’s legal. And we can use our money. It ain’t like it used to be.

College football has changed. Business is transparent and open and the highest bidder will win. It’s capitalism and the free market in college sports.

And no, it’s never going back. Ever. Ever.

So stop being poor. Or get used to losing.

Others have no idea what rich is. Rich is independently wealthy - where you don’t have to work. I am not rich but many would probably consider me so. Most of my A&M friends are the same. Put that situation together with a large and loyal fan base that donates regularly it tends to add up. Are we unique? Probably not, but donations at A&M are at an all-time high.

NIL will show you the power of the Aggie Network. By the way, every recruit now understands the power of that network, which has been in place and growing for decades before NIL

The funniest thing about all of this is that all of those “oil barons” were literally living under a bridge in a cardboard box 18 months ago. Legit question - if you wanted to build a school dedicated to homo, would you build it any different than ATM?

You sir are in denial. Recruits got paid, the reality nobody wants to go to big boyscout school with dude cheerleaders.
8&4fit is the ok looking girl that gets a boob job a suddenly act like hot shite while all along they are insecure losers on the inside because the KNOW THEY ARE FAKE.

No. Boosters paying players to come to your school is not legal. If it were legal why would the SEC commissioner say this just yesterday...

“There are some concerning trends,” Southeastern Conference Commissioner Greg Sankey told Yahoo Finance. “We're not seeing name image and likeness activity — we're seeing just straight payments. And I think it's important that we recenter ourselves on what's supposed to be happening here and the desire to keep that activity out of recruitment to benefit young people economically but to do so in a healthy way.”

And no, it’s never going back. Ever. Ever.

A serious question for you. Do you think college football will survive long term if the same few programs buy most of the elite players year after year? Forever and ever. And ever?

The person in denial is the one that just ignored we signed the best recruiting class in history.

As in ever. As in the history of football itself.

And it’s going to stay legal. Who is in denial?

You might want to look up what that word means.

Living in Texas, A&M grads, fans, etc. are all extremely sensitive about what is said about A&M.

These weirdos live and breathe A&M, and wear there stupid ring around more than a wedding ring.

They think that everyone in Louisiana lives in a trailer and has no teeth. For whatever reason they always have an axe to grind with LSU.

What's funny is as an LSU grad (and like most grads), I couldn't care less where you went to school and if you graduated LSU, badass! I bleed purple and gold, but it is not my life.

A&M takes it to a level that is exhausting and cringe.

Every single one of them are weird as frick. And most couldn't tell you what a cover two defense is. They care more about tradition than anything else.

Colleges have been buying players for years, decades. I still remember watching Erik Dickerson play for the pony express
