LSU may not be big brother to everyone, but they certainly are to aTm. Was, is, and will be. Get to bed, I need my paper early...I'd like to check the classified for spaces for rent...

What I find ridiculous in all of this is the freshman that replaced him at 2b tonight had 4 rbi's.

There's a back story to this. I provided details, but I decided in deference to all involved, to take them down.

Suffice to say, Foster has had off the field issues to deal with. I don't know if I would have handled the situation as well as he did.

It was a bad move to not put in the schoolwork. But he gets a heads up award for knowing the NCAA rules better than his coach did.

You're a good, smart poster. But you are falling into the Tiger Droppings trap. You are now becoming mean, bitter, petty, and obsessive about things that should not matter to you. Nobody gives a frick about these athletes in real life, or what their grades are. We only care about our teams. You are showing extra special care about a player on another team because of your insecurity about that team eventually preventing your team from accomplishing their goal.

Give it a rest, sport. It is what it is. This whole my school is better than your school is childish.

Honestly if im CPM im very concerend with letting foster back on the team. LSU's compliance office is known for making mistakes and in tern a possible situation where he may have an ineligible player moving forward

My thoughts are he did just enough to scrape by his senior year. He obviously doesnt give a frick but he was never ineligible so someone at LSU is also to blame for not knowing/understanding the guidelines properly.

The rule is in place to be used, and they used it. It doesnt sound community collegish to me at all. It wasnt available in my major but apparently its a pretty common practice. If he was serious about his degree he would have to retake that class again. But i think it's safe to assume he's not serious about it.

Which is rather sad because he has little chance of making a living playing baseball.

How hard is it to pass a class at LSU? Lolz.

I went to both LSU and A&M and I can tell you it's just as hard at LSU. of course, sports mgt should be a lay up at any college.

what you aggies don't seem to understand is that no matter how high entrant requirements are to get into your school, these requirements don't count with respect to athletes. your "snobbery" is bull shite. we compete for the same players and if you think your athletes are academically superior to ANY OTHER SEC SCHOOL you are deluding yourself. but i'm sure it makes you feel better.

sorry, y'all aren't notre dame nor are you ivy league.

Senior Foster didn't make high enough grades in only 6 hours of classes to qualify for his major. Yet somehow his low grades for SR level classes in sports management can go towards another major that isn't sports management. How is that possible? Sounds very community collegeish.

This is an NCAA rule. Not an LSU rule. The SEC and the NCAA cleared him using the NCAA rule.

He was cleared by the SEC and NCAA, but that doesn't fit your narrative, does it?

You being this rustled about an LSU baseball player is quite amusing. Carry on.
