You need to check facts. In the last decade Auburn has won/finished second in the West four times. That is far greater than "you’d finish 3rd place in either division 90% of the time".

ETA this is during bama's run..........where Auburn has beaten them four out of ten. What's UGA's record against bama the last decade?

AU’s record vs ranked* teams in the last two seasons: 4-6, with a chance at going 6-6

UK’s record vs ranked teams in the last two seasons: 2-4

(*ranked in final 2018 AP poll and likely to be ranked in final 2019 AP poll)

Stoops has done a solid job, but the overall competition has been significantly less challenging.

An OT win in College Station isn’t “beating” anyone’s arse. Sit on down.

Auburn hasn’t beaten an SEC East team in how long?

Congrats to Stoops for not having to play Alabama, Auburn, LSU or a quality OOC opponent the last 2 years!

Mond made an unforced fumble that you returned for a TD, from what I recall. Hell, maybe there was a defender there, but it was a horrible fumble.

EDIT: was not unforced, but was still a horrible job of holding on to the ball.

Kentucky didn’t take a single snap in A&M territory all game. (until OT, of course)

A&M more than doubled Kentucky in total yards AND first downs.

This is like comparing apples to oranges.

What would Malzahn's record be if he coached in the East and his cross division rival was Mississippi State?

He’s a damn good coach.

I do not think I’ve ever pulled for Kentucky as hard as i was yesterday. When I found out how the Virginia tech players were acting, Kentucky had to win.

Well, I’ve got one more factoid.

AU under Malzahn vs common annual regular season opponents (MSU & UGa): 6-8

UK under Stoops vs common annual regular season opponents (MSU & UGa): 2-12

Regardless of what division he’s in he’s doing it at Kentucky. That deserves some credit.
