The '78 beatdown of Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl was pretty sweet. The 31-7 arse whipping of #1 Texas was right up there...

What Georgia did to Hawaii in that Sugar Bowl was borderline inhumane.

LSU 2004 was a good one. Auburn 2011 was a lot of fun. Auburn 2012 was just sort of sad.

2010 Gator Bowl was probably my favorite beat down.

Be more specific with your 2011 and 2012 auburn ones. I think 3/4's of the sec has that one.

2010 Bama Beatdown 35-21

I kid I kid.

Got to be UGA 2012, that was about as good as I have ever seen us play. We could do no wrong that night and had the game locked up by half time. Williams-Brice was amazing that night as well.

Also the arse beating we gave Arkansas this year was pretty good, but I don't think that team fits the qualifications.

The 2004 regular season game against UT.
UT was favored and it was 31-3 AU at halftime.

What it should have been was the 2005 Iron Bowl. 21-zip after three possessions and then we fumble it deep in bammer territory and let them get off the floor. Still 28-7 at the half and then we go into the dreaded Tubershell.

Agree...although I listed 21-0, it really wasn't an epic beatdown. LSU's defense played lights out all night until they gave up that late TD. Bama's D was just a little better and we got enough offensive and special teams production to get the win.....it was close and felt like it could go either way until mid-way through the 4th. Jefferson was horrible but if LSU had a competent QB that night, Bama might well have lost again.

2011 when LSU took the will out of Auburn. That was one of the worst arse whoopings i have ever seen. They didnt want to return kickoffs because we were blowing them up!!!

My winner. The kickoffs started to get scary too. Auburn return men were getting fricked up every time they ran the ball.

Never have seen a crowd stay so pumped for such a huge arse beating before.

Giving up less than 100 yards of offense and letting them cross the 50 only once to a team that was playing for GOAT was a beatdown. I don't care what the scoreboard said. That game was never in doubt.

2007 Virginia Tech, 48-7 over a top 10 team. Probably the highest quality game played by Les's teams.

For SEC opponents, October 2011 had some ridiculous beatdowns:

LSU 35 UK 7
LSU 41 UF 11
LSU 38 UT 7
LSU 45 AUB 7

Also, beating down Florida 36-7 in their own house in 2002 was amazing. I don't care that Spurrier was gone, UF had dominated us for so many years.

Only shitty thing about this game was Matt Mauck tearing his ACL

It was a great win don't misunderstand me...but let's be an honest, LSU's D played very well and kept us out of the endzone until late in the 4th. Our kicker didn't choke like he did in the first game which got us our points. A 2-TD against LSU wasn't exactly comforting until Trent busted that run and then the game was clinched. Agree that our D put an arse whooping on LSU's O but their D handed it out too....

I don't think it was an arse whoopin. The defense played well. The offense, well we know how that went. Nice try though.

that was one of the most pathetic games I've ever seen. They were like a corpse just taking it whatever way LSU wanted to give it.

21-0 played out exactly like the first half of the SECCG vs UGA...JJ was awful in that game as well. Mathieu saved us with two huge punt returns that swung the momentum back to our side.

We never got that big play on 1/9. All season the D or ST made big plays that either scored or put the O in easy position to score...never happened on 1/9.
