In all fairness, the 2020 team put up some epic numbers but they get generally forgotten for some reason.

ESPN remembers.

They have them ranked #1.

Sure, I've seen some rankings that rank them high, but generally, they're underrated for some reason. Maybe everyone was too busy with COVID or something.

Nah.

Being ranked #1 by the Worldwide Leader in Sports will suffice.

Being ranked #2 by some no name Yankee will be 2019 LSU's legacy.

Nothing to be upset about.

You take stock in what this nerd thinks.

I have to ask, in your guys opinion why does OU from 2000 not get much respect? They had an insane schedule for their era and beat a team in the title that was favored and they only scored on OU bc of the OU punter kicking it into our own end zone.

You must mean Disney, because anyone who believes that 20 team was the best of all time also believes in Snow White and Cinderella.

And how does 2011 Alabama make the list at #16, but 2011 LSU doesn't make the list at all?

Yet he has 2005 Texas and 2005 USC in the list?

Guy is just stupid.
Thanks bro

And you're right... 2011 Alabama and LSU were mirror images, and head and shoulders better than anyone else that year. Both just murdered everyone else. If either team had won both games, they'd be in discussion for #1 overall.

They were legit but the majority of these rankings don't have them in the top 2 for whatever reason.

Upset?

I'm linking rankings from ESPN and posting photos of nerds.

I'm having a great time.

That Miami team was an NFL team brother.

That lsu team was great but they’re not staying within 7 points of 2001 Miami. Nobody is.

Y'all think 2019 could beat the 72 Dolphins and 85 Bears all on the field at the same time, though.

What has made 2019 LSU difficult to juxtapose with other historic teams is the fact that, especially looking at that back half of the season, so long as that team was good enough to beat you at all, they were going to do it by 21+. The offense just scored too quickly. For instance I can’t see how they wouldn’t beat the 2008 Tebow team by less than a 24-point margin. Which is crazy, but as long as they had at least the slightest advantage, that’s how it went with pretty much everyone.
