We did that when we were up like 31-3 last year. That will not happen with most teams last year. In 2021 80% of our games were over by the 3rd quarter. Think that only happens in a few games this year.

Our D isn’t gonna drop off as much as you and others think. We reload.

You can't throw for 300+ against 98% of the SEC much less all of cfb.

Would 95% be more realistic? 90%?

Yeah, all that's left at UGA are some certified bums. Zero talent left over whatsoever. We'll be lucky to win 5 games...

Oh wait.

UGA threw for 3778 yards in 2021 (bennett, daniels, beck) over 15 games (251.8 yards per game).

UGA threw for 300 yards 5 times in 2021 (UAB, South Carolina, Missouri, Bama, Michigan).

UGA beat 13 opponents by 15+ points in 2021.

This will be Stetson's first offseason leading drills with the receivers.

All of those knocking stetson may want to slow down and think this through.

I personally think the only thing holding stetson's yards down in 2022 would be the type of coverages thrown at UGA. If an opponent challenges UGA in man coverage, he will win multiple times over the top. Bend but dont break can force him to hit windows and not green grass. But then the screen game with bowers, gilbert, delp, mcconkey, and Blaylock will feast.

We've never lost our top 3 ILBs under Kirby. That position has always been the leader of our defense and this year it will have to be someone who has no significant experience.

That's precisely why I posted this. I see potential shootouts against Oregon, UF, and Tennessee, Moo St.

You may have a very valid point. Last year you had a defense that could shut you down so not much stress on the O but this year you have muschump calling the defense so your offense better be able to score.

Stet dropped 200 in the first half on most of you clowns last year.

Stetson did average 143.1 yards per game in the first half last year.
Duplicate that for the 2nd half and he gets 4008 over 14 games.

That’s partially why we will see a slight drop off in the quality of our d.

He put up 240 in the first half against Michigan. We threw for as much as we wanted on any team not named Bama last year.

Muschump is another reason it will drop off unless Kirby is running the D and fat boy is just a figurehead.

That's a huge deal IMO.

5/7 on the front 7 have very limited game experience, there's no proven leader, and the safeties are a question mark. We will be a solid unit by the end of the year but I bet we give up at least 24 to Oregon.

Offensive talent should be better this year. TE room is as loaded as anyone's ever has been in college football, WRs will be fine as long as health holds up, RBs will be great, and OL will be outstanding.

I don't know what Bennett will do in 2022, but if he flops, it won't be because there is a lack of talent around him.

I'm claiming muschump sucks period. He called the defense alot here at Carolina, because his buddy trob sucked arse, and his defense at auburn wasn't Jack.

If we're giving up 24 to Oregon, it's going to be a tough year for the defense. Oregon isn't exactly a world beater.

I think Georgia's defense is still gonna shut down most of their opponents and his numbers will be higher but still held down attempts wise too much for 4,000.

I'll go 3,650 (~260 per game over 14 games).

Obviously the other wild card here is whether UGA plays 13, 14 or 15 games.

Muschamp as a HC, totally agree, he sucks

Muschamp as a DC, alongside Kirby Smart and Schumann? Brother, there's no worries there.

I originally typed 3850 then decided 4000 is more of an attention grabber.
