Time to bring Odom back. That might actually be an upgrade.

not really, kuglowski developing talent made steckel. Another coach from MU who will reap benefits of others. Dave Christiansen reaped benefits of Chase Daniel to get Wyoming gig.

Just sending him to SMS to get some head coaching experience for when Pinkel leaves.

Nothing to see here.

Meh, he's a good coach but as long as we keep Kul happy we're good.

It'll be interesting to see if he tries to hide from the press when he gets his arse handed to him as a Head Coach like he would as a DC.

Next DC will be Barry Odom

He left to get DC experience while Steckel took over the defense.

Proved he could do the job, while taking the 117th ranked defense and turning them into #22 total ranked defense this season.

Kul will get a raise and maybe a title, but will stay DL coach.

Barry Odom Bio

If he gets it, it could actually help Mizzou on the recruiting front.

Clipped from his Bio...

quote:

A valuable part of Missouri's operations staff starting in 2003, Odom showed his versatility when he jumped into recruiting responsibilities in December of 2008 to fill the void when former assistant Dave Christensen left to become head coach at Wyoming after the Tigers' 2008 Alamo Bowl victory. Odom's hard work and personable nature helped secure the signings of several in-state standouts, as well as getting a late commitment from Louisiana's L'Damian Washington. He was also the lead recruiter on a handful of signees with Missouri's 2010 recruiting class which was ranked 21st nationally by Rivals.com, the highest-ranked class in Tigers history.

Terrible hire absolutely terrible. They missed on what was needed.

I do not get how a school can alienate it's boosters and players any more?
