Unpopular speech deserves the highest protection. Quit being pussies Gumps and let them come. Not that this petition has the ability to stop them or anything but whatever makes the Facebook hardasses feel better...

Yeah... there's a good thought, let's put a fence around Tuscaloosa and prevent the evil-doers of WBC from entering.

I wonder who we can prevent from entering next.

If they dont get compensated from the lawsuits, they have no money to travel or sustain their organization. They get money because someone gets so pissed off because of everyone talking about them, that they deny their rights somehow and lawsuit is brought about. They are also their own lawyers so even if the result of the suit is minimal they also get compensated for legal fees.

Legal fees and compensation sustain them by allowing them to travel and protest and do it all over again.

Like I said before, they put these feelers out there by saying they are going to go somewhere. Then if enough happens to where they think there is a possibility of their rights being denied, they actually go to the location. But most of the time they dont actually attend where they say they are going because of the cost and less than likely possibility of getting paid.

Basicaly they have set up an enterprise that gets paid to troll

If I am not mistaken the head of the "church" has over a thousand lawsuits of the previous nature

i'd like to see some of these "lawsuits". they didn't get shite from A&M.....and you can't sue a group of people just because they decide to show up at the same place you are.

and then what? how are their rights being denied if they actually show up? the hundreds of people that show up to tell you how much of an a-hole you are have just as much of a right to be there.

sorry...but just because these idiots have a right to do what they're doing doesn't mean we should just lie down and ignore them. ignoring them does nothing....they'll just move on to their next target. maybe if more people started expressing their right to tell these people what they thought of them (non-violently) they'd start to shut the frick up.

How would you know? It's never been tried.

This has been tried, however. Unsuccessfully.

look it up they have made millions, this isnt anything new. Most people arent aware though. His father was known for the same thing.

No but you can sue someone for denying your right to protest. which is what they do

and then what?

Lik what happens? if they actually go somewhere, most times they dont, they stay for a little bit and try to incite people to deny their rights, and if nothing happens they move on to the next troll.

They do, if they do it in a leagal manner by filling the proper paper work beforehand, which is what WBC does. Again its all a troll to incite someone or some entity enough to deny their rights, so the can sue

This!

Ignore them and they will quit spending the travel money.

Which brings the question.

Who is funding these lunatics? Taking a crowd across country on a regular basis isn't cheasp.

Those who keep trying to prevent them from protesting. Ironic, isn't it?

Yeah, that's worked out great so far. There are people at every single one of their "protests" telling them this, and what has been the result? More "protests" at a higher frequency. I sure hope you're trolling here. If not, you need to pull your head out of your backside.

Exactly. Let them protest wherever they want and just ignore them. They are only in it for the attention. Take that away, and they have nothing.

Well I have a feeling they are going to bypass Oxford and head straight to TTown ... Too much fuss being made by Bama fans on social media.... I don't think they show in Memphis either.... The only people that will pay them any attention are the bums trying to beg for $ and the lunatics who want to rob them and rape their women and young boys.

Very poor analogy. I know it must have sounded better in your head.

It's actually a public STATE FUNDED institution so the state of Alabama nor the school can really say that. But every Facebook poster that writes this stupid shite is helping WBC in their cause by supplying their defense team with plenty of ammo.

This. If courts won't allow OM to block the on campus KKK protest, how can AA block the WBC?

All I know is if they come to Tuscaloosa doing that crap, they're going to leave with their nuts in their necks.
