If FSU beats Georgia I have no issue with them claiming some sort of split title. Probably the best scenario for them in the long run, honestly. They weren't winning 2 games in the playoffs, but if they can find a way to beat Georgia (who might have opt outs?) then they'll have a nice argument - especially if Alabama or Texas win the playoffs.

He made some very good points.

He’s right, but what can you do? The CFP has become overly politicized and results don’t matter anymore.

Cool - that really shouldn’t come into consideration when looking at year to year resumes. Otherwise UGA would be in the top4 right now also.

Well, Bama and Texas, right? I mean they both jumped FSU.
Texas really owes Bama a beer: Bama gave them their marquee win; they beat UGA and opened the door for the CFPs; and now Bama is taking all of the heat for the FSU exclusion. It's like no one noticed UTx also jumped FSU. Both Bama and UTx moved up an unprecedented 4 spots in the final polls to make the CFPs
It does suck for FSU, but Travis was injured, and a horrible SoS got them.
