Lololol

Don’t lose to OU

Don’t lose to Vandy

Dumb fricks. If LSU had gotten WKU instead of USC LSU would’ve been just as qualified as those Bama pussies

That’s his friggin point. Why play USC. Alabama, Ole Miss, South Carolina and LSU would be favorites over SMU, IU, Boise and Clemson. Is this what what you want the playoffs to be?

You lost to 3 conference opponents and the odds say if you lose it will be to conference opponents. In my opinion it’s actually the opposite. If y’all had played Ohio State or anyone with a pulse this year and beat them in y’all’s non conference schedule, guess what you would be in the playoff because of that extra win. But because yalls OOC schedule sucked donkey balls there was zero over coming losing to Vanderbilt an Oklahoma the way Alabama did. You can play Ohio State and play them close and lose and lose to another SEC team and make the playoffs every year with 2 losses. Lose to a good OOC team then lose to Vandy an Oklahoma and you not getting in regardless.

It is often an unnecessary trap game with no benefit to winning

Do you expect me to believe that he would have made any fricking statement at all if bama made the 12? Don't be stupid. Nobody likes stupid.

Are you fricking retarded? Nevernind, we know you are. Obviously his statement gets highlighted because he is asked since they got left out. But, the comment extends to everyone in the conference.

Personally I think they should reduce the playoff to eight teams with four conference champ participants.

People who are talking about changing schedule strategies have lost the thread IMO. Because we're discussing the 10th through 12th ranked teams who are frankly not deserving of the opportunity to play for a championship anyway.

It is generally necessary to become better through a good schedule. I don't know if Georgia wins the SEC if they don't play real games against teams like Clemson and Tech.

I think looking at this year's top six seeds the trend is clearly the opposite of playing weak ooc schedules. That's not an accident even for the years where a top four team (conference champ) has a weak ooc slate. The outlier TCU type should get destroyed by the second or third round in the future.

It wasn't a response to a question, it was in defense of his brand. Don't lose to 6-6 teams, play nobody OOC, and then bitch about the outcome.

This argument is funny as hell.

I agree, but BAMA had some ugly losses and only have themselves to blame.

Everyone is talking about Alabama, but think about if Clemson had scheduled two Sun Belt teams instead of UGA and USCe. They’d probably be the 2 seed.

Current resale ticket prices for the sold out Notre Dame - Indiana game start at $1400.

Nobody is going to vote to limit the field to eight teams.

Yep, from now on LSU should play ULL, ULM, La. Tech, Nichols and Grambling every year. (Or alternate one if that is too many OOC games. It'd be good for the state...and well, who gives a shite.

So i dont understand this... Alabama's losses were all in conference, just 2 of them were very bad losses to bad teams that are sec teams
They are threatening to schedule even softer opponents than western Kentucky since they did not make the playoffs?

Exactly. He’s a fricking idiot. If Oregon had been an OOC game for Ohio State this year Ohio State would still be in the playoffs.

It seems like the committee is willing to give a university one mulligan to an unranked team.

Nobody really wants to see a three loss national champion if it can be helped.

The sec is going to schedule 2 conference games a year and nine out of conference games. Haha. They already schedule less conference games than everyone else in the nation

A lot of this stuff rings pretty hollow at this point

Alabama thinking they played the lions packers and Vikings this year

Say goodbye to good matchups between OOC opponents. I fully expect a bunch of those to be cancelled that are already scheduled. Good for LSU because BK can’t win those anyway.

Byrne is a bitch for this.

If Bama was royally screwed, fine. Stick up for your boys.

They weren’t screwed. They were one of 3 SEC schools that blew their chance along the way. SC fans have handled it like men, even OM fans. Bama fans seem to possess the holier than thou attitude that requires their AD to release a statement.

Boo frickin hoo…you don’t get your 4th chance this year.
