Having the lowest cost per win using coaches' salaries

LSU $3,500,000 / 10 wins = $350,000 per win
Ole Miss $3,000,000 / 5 wins = $600,000 per win
Alabama $11,132,000 / 12 wins = $927,667 per win
Auburn $7,000,000 / 7 wins = 1,000,000 per win
Texas AM $7,500,000 / 7 wins = 1,071,428 per win
Arkansas $3,500,000 / 2 wins = $1,750,000 per win

Quite the raise for our under qualified O-line coach.

Wow I thought this was gonna be about academics for a second. State is last there.

Wow...hire a losing high school coach for $100,000/yr and go 1-10 winning one game over Rice or similar school, and you would be a real winner using this matrix.

Do State fans still want to fire Moorhead?

You are forgetting the bonuses, merch, and brand value that wins/chamionships bring. Saban has made Alabama a national brand for a generation. He is the greatest investment the school has made in a while. it doubled the student population, most of them being out-of-state national merit scholars.

I had totally forgot Matt Luke was making 3 mil a year lol. What contract is worse his or Gus's?

Now do it based on net change from preseason/prehire predictions

I think you mean poorest?
When you shite money, it doesn't matter how much wins cost.

Include the complete coaching staff, watch us drop. Still happy with the win total, I thought it would be lower. But obviously I want 2 of them back.

Luke will get an increase if Cohen can get a title loan on his 76 Gremlin.

Fire Moorhead? Color me confused with that remark.
Coach JoMo deliberately took a smaller salary to free up more money for his assistants. Very smart on his part. Plus the CoL in Starkvegas is about a 1/3 to 1/2 of bigger cities. So his 2.3 mil salary is about 4.6 - 6.0 mil any where else. Plus, his salary will rise as the years go on.
So it is a win-win for him and the school and his assistants.
