Gene Chizik has a title ring also. Mike Dubose won a SEC title. If not for a bad loss that year to Louisiana Tech he might have even got to play for a NC. BYU won a NC in the past 30 years or so. Sometimes it’s about the stars lining up at the right moment in time.

I don't remember that. But I thought Pelini was an fricking horrible, inexplicable, inexcusable hire at the time. At least Matt Canada was a rising star at the time we had some good offensive games (by standards of the time) before he left
