Re-read his post. He was referring to potential UGA 5*s dropping ("our").

This is a monster class for UGA.

Tom Brady, Ben Rothlisberger and Antonio Brown were NO stars.

J.J. Watt was a 2 star; so was Jordy Nelson, LeVeon Bell, Kahlil Mack, T.Y. Hilton

Aaron Rogers, Von Miller, Matt Ryan, Marcel Darius, Terrell Rivas, Richard Sherman, Russell Wilson, and Luke Kuechly were all three stars.

Ryan Perrilloux, Mitch Mustain, B.J. Scott, Tyler Love, John Brantley, Isaiah Crowell, Gunner Kiel, were all five stars who quickly became falling stars.

Stars don't mean squat.

For whatever reason, we had several drop in ratings when 247 came out. James Cook, for one. If the other services do similar drops we have one or two that could drop.

Leonard was. Not Lanard. Lanard was a 3*

Bet you can't find any of the players you mentioned that were on the same team at the same time.
Do you think it is a coincidence that Alabama has had the #1 class in the country for 7 years in a row and have won 4 National Championships in that time?

Not every 5* will be great and and not every 2 or 3 * will be bad. But more 5* will hit than miss and more 2 and 3* will miss than hit.

It isn’t just ‘stars’ that make Alabama. As long as Georgia has Jim Chaney they aren’t going to win a National Championship. Kirby and Jim Chaney are why you lost that game. It wasn’t ‘stars’ that lost you that game. Incompetent coaching did.

Lol c'mon man.. Georgia was a couple plays from winning the national championship. And a lot of people think they were even a year early with their team getting that far. They are recruiting on an unreal level. Georgia will win a national championship in the next 3 years. You don't get to the national championship with bad coaching. Let's be serious. Chaney may not be top notch but he's not a bad coach.

We were thinking 2019, actually, so 2 years. Jake has a thing. he just can't stand it if anybody comes close to Alabama. Hopefully this won't be a one year thing for us, but we do expect a step back this year.

But yes.....if Saban had not put Tua in the game, I have no problem thinking we would have beaten Alabama....even with Jim Chaney.
He just doesn't think through most of his posts.

Hats off to UGA. I knew it would take a school that wasn’t so obsessed with beating us to make a run at being dominant. You can’t really hope to be better than us right now, but maybe try to be like us. And Kirby is doing his damndest.

I saw people after the game day this about Chaney, needing improved DBs, etc. when we were a couple plays from winning. We don’t need to do anything drastically different. Yes, it would have helped if we didn’t get conservative or if our DBs would have played better, but if Fromm’s pass doesn’t hit a Bama player’s helmet at 20-7, or if we make the tackle on Tua’s 3rd down scramble at 13-0 who knows how that game turns out.

Why am I not surprised the thread about a bunch of 5*'s was started by a Georgia fan.

I mean, maybe I should have just put it on our board based on the responses but I looked into it and thought it was somewhat interesting. Maybe I should have waited until the start of next year, but I don’t know why it would bother you I posted this.
