Dude pick something else. You’re clearly out of your element on this particular topic

I will cede the ground to people that have never been in the stadiums they are discussing

Im just out of the element even being in the main one discussed this week when no one else was there

Auburn's needs expanded and updated as well

I don’t think it needs to expand any but it definitely needs to be updated. The exterior looks so old.

Auburn needs a new stadium, period. There's just not much you can do with a massive dingy concrete structure. Auburn figured this out about Beard-Eaves, but because of the history, won't do the same about Jordan Hare. You can slap siding and brick on some areas, but a brutalist structure is still a brutalist structure. Even with proposed renovations, there's just too much of that 70's/80's era mildew-stained concrete visible inside and out.

The track is there so the fire truck can go around the stadium.

It needs to go. I’ve seen several players slip on it this year. It’s going to get someone hurt.

If you put escalators around your stadium you are no longer a historic stadium

If you can walk through the gate and see shiny metal escalators moving you are no longer a historic stadium

Tennessee, Auburn and LSU need some serious facelifts for the exterior facades. If you were standing in a empty parking lot outside Neyland Stadium it could just as easily be 1972.

That 21 Million would've been nice for that!

This is an architectural mess. Looks like sections of 4 different stadiums were spliced together.

This thread prompted me to start looking at some stadium pics. There are definitely some ugly arse stadiums in this conference. Big ones no doubt, but ugly

Sorry but I like the heritage of how our stadium was built

Whats the background on it?

Built by slaves given the day off from the cane fields. Renovated and maintained by sharecroppers living in shacks behind the stadium, paid in corndogs and football tickets.

That’s Alabama’s heritage. The most racist state in the US.
