Spurrier vs Richt

As far as coaching goes, who do you think is better at their job?
I like Richt quite a bit, he seems like a nice guy I never see him going crazy like Spurrier and he has done well at GA. He has put GA in a lot of games and they just couldn't finish.
Spurrier always annoyed me due to the fact he was always whining, yelling, throwing players under the boss. But I respect him because he brought SC out of a nobody to a team that has been consistently challenging over the past seasons.
I think Spurrier has done more with less.
Less money.
Less Alumni.
Less recruiting/talent.
But GA has been pretty decent too I really enjoy watching their great players like Murray and their great RB's.
Which coach is better in your honest opinion?

I'm not at a comp but I'm sure you'll get some great responses here.
Btw every answer will be spurrier.

Only time I've seen him lose his cool. Acceptable though because Penn Wagers is retarded.

I would take Spurrier if I had to take one of the two. I think Spurrier is on the verge of mailing it in though. I just like his personality more, I guess.

Spurrier has a natty, and multiple SEC championships. Richt has shite.

well, that is wrong, but whatever.

Spirrier probably. The east was pretty stout when he was at the helm...for the most part. Really the only problem Spurrier had was he pulled a 2011 Nick Saban and won his only championship because of a rematch. He would definitely whoop arse and take names when he was winning. He'd even tell other teams the score and he'd get it done. But when he lost back in the day...it was bad
Richt has kept it pretty steady for the most part. He's like the SEC's Frank Beamer.

Is the question asking who is the better coach in their prime or right now? It's obviously Spurrier in his prime, but I wouldn't trade Richt for him at the moment. Spurrier is old and mailing it in pretty hard.

Richt's a solid coach, but his two Sec championships occurred when a majority of the Sec powers were down. If you'll notice, he hasn't won one since the Sec as a whole, strengthened about ten years ago.

What? Spurrier just doesn't sugar coat anything. If we played like crap he says it, and when we do the first thing out of his mouth is usually how bad his coaching was.
With that said they're both great. If some how it all shook out that Spurrier retired during a down year for UGA and they finally pulled the trigger on getting rid of Richt.. I'd love to hire the man.

the press conference from last year's tennessee's game instantly comes to mind

In their prime? Spurrier. I don't think the gap is as wide as some do though.

That would be my choice, but both are great coaches.

Steve Short Fuse Spurrier, is arguably one of the best ever his resume reads like an NFL playbook and with good reason. Two time All American, Heisman winner, 10 year NFL career....
CMR's record as a player and coach is no slouch and a lot more comparable than you might think. Oh he has two rings as a coach 93-99 FSU national champions.
He almost got one with Miami as Jim Kelly's backup but he graduated in 1982....
Also Georgia is gonna skull frick sc this year so the comparison will diminish greatly.
