It's the most lopsided permanent opponent matchup in the SEC, and that isn't going to change until Saban is retired.

Since 1992:
UGA is 5-4 against LSU.

The kicker???
Points for UGA = 228
Points for LSU = 230

According to cfbdatawarehouse, Bama is 10-11 against you during that timespan (they forfeited the tie). Yet, they've scored 55 more points.

I swear it's like you've only been watching college football for one year. It's really funny how you just know how everything will shake out.

Thats a nice way of saying that the bama fans watch it, since Birminghamm is the largest tv market when it comes to college football.

I don't remember anyone bitching about scheduling then but UT was a powerhouse and Bama was a cupcake.
This. The bitching started when Bama got really good and started beating everyone; especially LSU who feels like Alabama has taken their place and the power in the West.

And Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina all their historic rivals are out of conference, so they count as OOC games. Whereas, Bama's biggest rivals, Tennessee and Auburn are part of the SEC.

Would UGA, USCe, and FL give up GT, Clemson, and Freeshoes?

Not true. I was bitching long before that. There were several 2-3 way ties in the SEC west that sent Bama or auburn to the SEC championship with an easier schedule. Its just now getting some traction recently because of the NC's.

Which years would that be?

1992, 1993, and 1994 certainly not.

1996?
Alabama was 6-2. LSU was 6-2.
Alabama lost to Tennessee and Mississippi State.
LSU lost to Alabama and Florida.

OOC
Alabama:
Bowling Green- 4-7
Southern Miss- 8-3
NC State- 3-8

LSU:
Houston- 7-5
New Mexico State- 1-10
Tulane- 2-9

1997?
LSU 6-2. auburn 6-2
auburn lost to Florida and Mississippi State
LSU lost to auburn, Ole Miss, and Notre Dame.

OOC
auburn:
Virginia- 7-4
Central Florida- 5-6
Louisiana Tech- 9-2

LSU:
UTEP- 4-7
Akron- 2-9
Notre Damn- 7-6

Don't see how auburn went with easier scheduling. LSU lost 3 in the regular season. auburn lost 2 and had better OOC competition.

1999:
Alabama was 7-1. Only loss to tennessee
LSU was 1-7. No need to pursue this one.

2000:
auburn was 6-2
LSU was 5-3

auburn lost to Mississippi State and Florida.
LSU lost to auburn, Florida, and Arkansas.

No argument here

2004.
auburn was undefeated. LSU wasn't. No argument can be made here

2008:
Alabama was undefeated. LSU was 3-5. No argument can be made here.

2009:
Alabama was undefeated. LSU was 5-3. No argument.

2010:
auburn was undefeated. LSU was 6-2. No argument.

2012:
Alabama was 7-1. LSU was 6-2.

Alabama lost to aTm. LSU lost to Florida and Alabama.

OOC
Alabama:
Michigan- 8-5
WKU- 7-6
Florida Atlantic- 3-9
Western Carolina- 1-10

LSU:
North Texas- 4-8
Washington- 7-6
Idaho- 1-11
Towson- 7-4

It wasn't even a tied division, but even the OOC doesn't show an easier schedule to break a tiebreaker. Plus, LSU lost to Alabama.

I see no tie in the West that sent Bama or auburn over LSU. Every year that Bama or auburn won the west, they had beaten LSU.

Where are these "several 2-3 way ties" at?

Up until 2002 it didn't matter as much because everyone was playing 3 of the 6 cross-divisional teams with 2 permanents. Now that we are down to 2 games from the other division out of 7, the imbalances in scheduling is much more apparent and frequent.

Remember when Spurrier was the most hated coach in the SEC?

How times change.

Who cares?

Why should the other 12 schools football schedules have to revolve around you two?

Holy crap some of you Bama people are stupid. It's about balancing out strength of schedules.

Many of you Bama fans are more obsessed with your preoccupation with LSU fans' supposed obsession with all things bama/saban. Get over it.

Look at the scheduling objectively (if that's even possible).

You're talking about a group of people who blames their embarrassing fans on "closet lsu/Texas fans trying to make bama look bad"...

Then why the frick weren't you concerned about balancing the schedules when UT was beating Bama's arse every year?

That's the entire point that you missed
