4-8-1 against Bowden Bitch. Even better 4-9-1 against FSU.

Oh, he was a hell of a coach, out in front of his time.

Drove us into the ground from the heights that be built.

I swear Bama fans have this weird anti-Spurrier thing about them that no other SEC fanbase has. Not even UGA or UT.

Idk if it was all those matchups in the SECCG in the 90s or what.

Great coach, but also overrated. How his tenure at UsC ended, not so much the football part, but the ethical part of quitting on his team/staff. Plus no undefeated seasons as UF, and only one natty. And that one he was lucky to get a mulligan against a team that had already beaten him once that year.

You remember the last time Spurrier coaches against Arkansas? Talk about dragging nuts.

If you don’t recall, it was Arkansas’ homecoming if that helps you refresh.

Congrats for the stupidest comment of the day. Not only did he lead USCe to their first 11 win season ever, he did it 3 years in a row.

How in the ever loving frick does winning 11 three years in a row, when they had only won 10 one time in their entire history, qualify as "driving them into the ground"?

Quit on his team....Zero respect.

His best USC team couldn't beat Botch Jones.

Respect Spurrier’s career but the way he ended it at South Carolina only to show back up at Florida and in the Xfl is just complete loser shite.

If you are going to quit on your team at least retire for good and don’t show back up - even in whatever capacity his office job at UF is/was

Too bad he couldn't do it against Petrino. The day Bobby got fired, Spurrier invited people for a party. Because he knows he couldn't out coach him.

He was 1-2 against Nutt who is one of the worst SEC coaches in time management.

That was the only time he could brag. I remember he told South Carolina players in 2010 that it was ok to lose to Arkansas because they would still make the SECCG.

He beat Nutt a couple of times at OM.

I actually admit that I think this is one of his biggest faults. I swear winning the SEC was his only goal at times. I vividly remember him saying a couple of years in that it took him a while to realize how much our fans wanted us to beat Clemson because in his mind it didn’t matter so much because it didn’t effect conference results.

you are a dumb a-hole who doesn't have a clue. He gave the Gamecocks the best teams they ever had and left when he realized his age was a detriment to recruiting and left before it could hurt the upcoming class

Right?

That quote above is the definition of being "football retarded".

Spurrier is known for taking two of the most historically insignificant programs and turning them into respectable programs.

Florida and South Carolina were absolute jokes before Spurrier took them over.
