Spurrier will always be Spurrier but that doesn't change the fact that he drove South Carolina into the ground and once he realized how bad it was said "frick it, I'm out" mid season.
At least Arkansas can suck for an entire season without giving up.

Yeah, he only won a Heisman as a player, then took a program that was a historical loser and turned them into one of the better programs in the SEC.

He's done some pretty neat things.
When (I think it was) Lou Holtz's wife was diagnosed with cancer he called often to check on them and ask if there was anything he could do.
I saw something about some kids getting in an elevator with him one day and giving hi some crap and he talked to them had a good time with it. Didn't get mad. it's hard for me to not like him.
Is there something you know that points to his being a dirtbag?
