Is there still an SEC rule in place regarding the spring 15-day window that opens tomorrow? SEC players can't transfer to other SEC schools this late, correct?

They'd have to sit out a year.
That rule will be overturned.
That rule will be overturned.

I can't keep track of which rules still exist.

This is considered the second magic portal of the year. No SEC player can transfer to another SEC team.

That rule seems to have been overturned by the NCAA codifying the WV Fed case last week.

the SEC has not changes their rule (despite discussing doing so); no player in the spring portal from a SEC school; which will now also include players from Texas and Oklahoma, are allowed to transfer to another SEC school to play in the fall.

The federal courts have ruled that schools can not put restrictions on players transferring, or NIL restrictions. The SEC will “approve” any waiver, as they don’t want the courts to get involved like they did with the NCAA.

When that happens be sure to let us know. In the meantime, the SEC says no.
