Vegas has loved us all year. I know Ole Miss sucks but -25.5 seems a bit steep. LSU's only -16 against a Tennessee team that literally has only one QB listed on the roster, has rushed for like -28 yards in conference, and has lost their starting tailback.

Not to mention Alabama -12 or so against Arkansas. If I remember correctly Alabama/LSU was something like Alabama -7 when the first lines came out before the season started.

My guess is that at this point Vegas would have us favored over any of the top teams on a neutral field.

It was Alabama -12 before the season started

Its kind of a tricky line. Alabama could easily win a very close game by a touchdown.

No way - Ole Miss is possibly the worst offensive team in the country, and y'all probably have the best all-around defense. I don't see Ole Miss running a double-digit number of plays on y'alls side of the field.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Go to bank withdraw everything
-Tease it to Bama -16.5
-Profit
-Buy BCSCG tix and take long vacation.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Great investment. What is the payout on that?

Actually just the opposite. Vegas has set practically every line for Bama WAY too low this year, not showing bama nearly enough respect.

That appears to be changing as the line is adjusting big time.

as much as anything I was comparing it to the LSU-Tennessee line. Tennessee can't run the ball at all. Even with Bray they weren't that competitive against Florida and at home to Georgia (I don't know exactly when Bray went out as I was watching our game and Auburn-Arkansas).

No running game. Matt Simms with I guess a true freshman back up QB. An at best decent defense. I would definitely take LSU -16 before I took us -25.5.

For whatever reason our offense has never gotten on track versus Ole Miss under Saban. 27 is the most we've ever scored against them. That doesn't mean we won't have a big game Saturday but for whatever reason we haven't played well against them. We were brutal against them last year at home.

There is no possible explanation as to why it isnt Bama -3... a Pick 'em on a neutral field. That is the ONLY prediction that can be made about this game.

Chump change ... 25K for me ... I'll miss the game, being on safari in South Africa from Wednesday before the game until the following Thursday after the game on a cull/management hunt ... we'll prolly take 3 or 4 big bulls.

This will be the 4th of my big 5 ...

I'll need to name it when it's on my wall

I kinda like the name Nicodemus
