Horrible list is horrible.

4 SEC teams? Yeah right.

I personally LOVE us being at 16. I've always thought preseason ranking us between 14-17 is best for us. We play the underdog role extremely well.

Now that is a list where they put extra effort into spreading out the preseason votes. Not sure it will play out close to that in the regular season though.

Michigan and Texas are getting a lot of love for two teams that were thunderously mediocre last season. Notre Dame at least won 10 games last year with a decent schedule. Michigan and Texas are getting a lot of love for "potential" but neither coach has proven that they can turn that potential into success at their current school.

I'm not as down on Washington as most folks here are, but I think that ranking is a bit generous. Oregon is a bit of a head scratcher considering they were pretty far from being world beaters last year.

Only 4 teams from the SEC suggests that SI thinks the SEC is going to be down this year compared to most years.

I still have no idea how Clemson gets this overhyped.

I think so, too. If their OLine can protect Stidham, they will win going away.

The frick has Michigan done to deserve all this hype?

They bring back a ton of talent this year. If they don't do it this year, Harbaugh will be in big, big trouble.

I’m pretty confident LSU beats Miami. They couldn’t score for shite against good defenses

Because of that DL that Alabama’s OL made a bitch out of in the Sugar Bowl.

EXACTLY what I'm saying.
They are not a top 10 team.

How they have Oregon in the top 25 is a joke. They've been a wreck the last couple years. With Washington and Stanford in their division, there's no way they are top 25. Washington at 4 is a joke too. FAU and no LSU? Come on, this guy was throwing darts.

I agree, AU will kill them on the lines and that defense will have the Husky QB running for his life.

I'm taking AU big in this one - Gus needs a big W for a coming out party after flopping to end the '17 season.

Probably 6th. FSU would be in the 5 spot. Hell, USF is probably ahead of the gayters.

Auburn's got more talent, easily, but Petersen is a better coach than Gus, and get a helluva lot out of lesser talent. Might be closer than you think.
