Bama just fired the coach (worse than a booster) for giving money to a player and got nothing.
You should find Phan and get married. Y'all are perfect for each other.
No, Bama didn't just fire a coach for giving money to a player. Davis was fired for improper contact.
If you're talking about Corey Harris, well, most people wouldn't use 'just fired' to describe something that happened 3 years ago.

I am the last person on earth to give Finebaum any credibility as his rep as a master troll is known to everyone. But at the end of the segment on O.Miss today, after talking to a writer from Jackson...I think...he said, very firmly "I am not one to spread rumors but I am hearing that there is yet another major announcement to come out in time. " He also said that Black Bear fans are "perhaps" being lulled into a sense of false security by the local media in the state who keep making light of all this.
Pawwwwly is Pisssssed. He clearly likes (or liked) Freeze, and now he knows Freeze and Bjork lied to him. They also used his show to spew their own PR and not actually answer any of his questions. He won't be cutting them any slack in this.

It was in the NOA and the article why Texas had to let Vaughn go. He lied to investigators and contacted witnesses in an attempt to get them to lie or change their stories.

You guys really want to dig into the Cell South Gameplan (i.e. The program Saunders implemented) then take a look at some of their "wins":
Cell South Gameplan Press Release
Correct me if I am wrong but there sure are other SEC schools listed there....1 more so than Ole Miss. So that being said, no one should want the doors opened on this portion of things because there is a bunch of guys who traveled GREAT distances to take their ACT in Wayneboro MS.

oh...but you're just going to ignore Tunsil's mother saying that was bullshite and that they could afford it themselves?
Did she lose a job between being able to afford the house themselves and needing her son to ask a football staffer for money to pay her utility bills?

Honestly, if Miller is telling the truth and he can verify payments and everything he is saying, we deserve whatever punishment the ncaa wants to hand out. I don't think the $100 handshake and stuff like that is a big deal, but if teams/schools go out of their way like this and get caught, punishment should be severe. With that being said, if Lindsey Miller actually had all of this proof and documentation, he would be selling it to a newspaper or someone for top dollar instead of just being a good citizen and giving it to the NCAA. This guy is out for money and fame, so he needs actual proof cause he has zero credibility.
Again, I don't think we are clean so I am definitely nervous, but I don't trust anything with regards to Miller.

Pretty much every school in this conference is guilty of most of what we've admitted to. The wildcard is we have a guilty party with a huge vendetta that doesn't actually give a shite about his reputation or the school.
I'm going to be like Ole Miss fans were before the 1st Tunsil allegations were proven, and he was suspended:
"it's not fair to accuse all schools of cheating when there is no evidence to support that, other than rumors. If you feel that other schools are cheating and have valid evidence to support your claim, contact the appropriate schools Compliance Department. Please dont slander these young men and their families"

quote:'just' as in that's all that came of him giving a player money. Ole Miss isn't going to get nailed for doing the same thing Bama skated on. I know you really really want them to get nailed because they beat yall 2 years in a row but it's not going to happen. The NCAA is soft. They even took back some of the punishment from the only school they nailed recently because it was too harsh.

So was that reported to the NCAA or did they find that out? Makes a difference in the cases.

That's not how it works. No reputable news source would pay for information they are reporting. It would be unethical.. and if they get caught or the paid source turns on them it would be a headache. The Ole Miss deal is of importance in the relative scope of this board.. but this is not that big deal in the grand scheme of things…. No news source is going to risk their reputation for something like this.

Uh, bruh, it happens all the time. TMZ, Deadspin, etc all pay for info. How do you think TMZ got the Ray Rice tape? They paid for it and that doesn't make them less reputable or unethical. It made them first with the story.
