Dirty recruiting is what makes CFB awesome. As long as your not stealing funds from children's hospitals ( LSU ) or running drugs or extorting people it's all fair game.

What else would you expect? They sold
Their soul to the Devil knowing full
Well Pearls background of cheating.
Time to pay the piper.

Ok, Auburn is in trouble because an asst coach was paid and then paid two players to sign with a certain agent after their playing days were over. The asst coach was fired immediately and the players punished with sitting out over a year after paying the money back. Auburn nor Pearl benefitted in any way whatsoever in this whole deal? Is there more to this or is that it?

Look hard enough at any program with success in basketball and you will find stuff.
Zion was not recruited. He was auctioned off to highest bidder.
Reggie Bush was under contract, not on scholarship.
Whatever?
We got a final 4 banner.
We got a football NC.
It is what it is.

Face it; Pearl is a cheater but can coach. But is he that great of a coach without the talent he cheats for?

Auburn won’t release the NOA so it’s impossible to say.

Not really. There is no one in the SEC who is surprised that auburn got caught with their hand in the cookie jar.
It’s what they do.
It’s what they do.

Well we all know that a self imposed ban really is nothing with regards to the NCAA, unless you are North Carolina or Duke.

What did Auburn do in this instance? What was the benefit?

They're all click whores at this point. Truth be damned

We're having to rehash everything we've known for 3 years to the people that didn't pay attention at all until this point. Either that or they just don't care about what we know that's happened.

I knew who wrote just based on the quotes in the OP. No one writes from a more sanctimonious viewpoint than Pat Forde, who thinks he’s God.
