Auburn hired a coach so dirty he was banned from recruiting the first 5 months he was their coach. Only school in NCAA history to hire a coach under a show cause order for cheating and lying about it to the NCAA.

It's so stupid how the NCAA picks and chooses when to take harsh action.

Auburn in trouble with the NCAA.. It's like clockwork man... It's almost as if, since no one outside of Montgomery gives a shite about them, they seek relevancy by getting themselves sanctioned by the NCAA... In their warped minds some attention is better than none...
3 things that we'll NEVER avoid: Death, taxes, and Auburn getting some sort of notice of allegations every few years..

Cam situation was 10 years ago. How did that turn out for everybody?
Before that was Chris Porter 20 years ago. Before that was 1992.
Now let's do Bama...

Ok, Auburn is in trouble because an asst coach was paid and then paid two players to sign with a certain agent after their playing days were over. The asst coach was fired immediately and the players punished with sitting out over a year after paying the money back. Auburn nor Pearl benefitted in any way whatsoever in this whole deal? Is there more to this or is that it?
Auburn did not benefit, HC Pearl did not benefit, BUT the parents (Auburn alum) accepted impermissible benefits from a Coach (also an Auburn alum) knowingly against NCAA rules.
Now, Auburn self-imposed really harsh punishment IMO. So why would Auburn pile on and add a post-season ban to the punishment they've already served? Why not lawyer up and tell the NCAA to pound sand?

Go back and look at the post I was replying to. It was about Pearl and the BBQ.

We can ponder several scenarios. 1. AU and NCAA have been negotiating this in private. 2. There are more allegations than what we think we know. 3. Pearl, not being confident we would get Sharife back anytime soon, said screw it, we know its coming so lets take our medicine now. or 4. This one's out there...in order to get AU/Bruce to cooperate, the NCAA is holding Sharife hostage and this was the only way to get his eligibility back.

Your basketball history is unequivocally worse than Kentucky football's history. Thats how shitty you've been. You're winning (now that youre cheating) and thats all well and good, , but lets be real about what rung Auburn basketball is in this hierarchy.
Bruce Pearl. And he’ll beat your arse just like he has been.
Good luck with 3 more years probation. At least you got an SEC Title or played in a Final Four for whatever your shite team did. Oops, never mind.
But I’m wasting my time with you. You don’t care about basketball. You are typical sidewalk trash.

Hey retard. Where was I even talking about Kentucky? That's right, I wasn't. Great reading comprehension skills, Corky.
But don't get me going about UK, the NCAA and your coach, who happens to be probably the dirtiest in the NCAA.
I was replying to an Alabama fan. Surely even a mongoloid like yourself realizes we've been a lot better program than their currently on probation, dumpster fire the last 4 years.

While I'm sure that sounds great in your head, it's false. Yes, Auburn has a rather inglorious basketball tradition, but it's still seen some very high highs, while Kentucky football has never amounted to much of anything in its history. We have sucked less.

Still butthurt that 5’’9 PG Jared Harper destroyed Kentucky in the elite 8 I see.
