Holy shite, shots fired.

quote:

Auburn has been around the NCAA violations block before, but now it's time to finally face the music.

quote:

Even by the secretive, cover-your-arse, obstruct-and-obfuscate standards of college athletics crisis management, Auburn stands out as the most craven of schools. Its motto might as well be Lie and Deny. It sure isn’t Truth and Transparency.

...

But in time, lie and deny can be a losing strategy. Eventually, there is nowhere left to run and hide.
Auburn, a school that would line up boosters for sworn affidavits stating that the sky is green if it would help the Tigers win a game or sign a recruit, started running out of real estate Sunday.

If any Auburn fans believe in the Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus, news of impending trouble in Bruce Pearl’s program may have come as a surprise. For everyone living in the real world, this was Auburn being forced to acknowledge what has been percolating for three years: the Tigers are in deep trouble.

quote:

This may simply be the Auburn Way. This is a school that had five major infractions cases between 1979-2004, according to the NCAA infractions database. That doesn’t include evading sanctions in an investigation of the Tigers’ recruitment of star quarterback Cam Newton in 2010, who led the team to the national championship.

Self-Imposed bans seems to backfire pretty regularly

Louisville took banners down and Ohio State missed a title with self imposing bans that were all for nothing

NCAA gonna nail them for all the bullshite they pulled with Cammy. Revenge is a dish best served cold. Ten years in the making and they did it to themselves. They just can't help but cheat, it's like breathing oxygen for them.

I'm sure they'll just be perfectly happy with your self-imposed sanctions.

Y'all fricked.

That a-hole is such a clown. I can just imagine how much he bitches and cries in his everyday life. He probably sounds like a woman in labor with no anesthesia.

Pat Forde has had AU egg on his face for a long time. They will not let him around the program and he tries to attack them every chance he gets. Nobody reads him and the only chance to hear his name is when his suck buddy Paul allows him on his show.

I think I’ll not be lectured by an Alabama fan about cheating and NCAA penalties, you dumb twat. Your team literally just got 3 years probation

I'm not after they promoted his article on Will Wade when he compared Wade to a shack during a hurricane while an actual hurricane was in the process of tearing up over half of Louisiana.

I will name the dirtiest coach in football as well.
1.Southern Methodist (SMU):Eight, all football.
2.Arizona State:Eight, mostly baseball.
3.Auburn:Seven, mixed bag of violations, biggest were football.

Ouch, top 3 all time. Man that's embarrassing.

Did Pearl have another BBQ?

ETA: Pearl is such a dirty cheater. Auburn looked the other way signing Pearl in hopes to hang a banner.
