This more properly belongs on the Poliboard, but its a disaster for the Democrats in the heartland states where they picked up the seats to win the House. People there are looking for bills on infrastructure, jobs, trade, and the like. I get why they pooped this bill out last month, its a sop to the LBTQ community so that they can concentrate on more important matters, but it still doesn't look good.

Not to mention it would be a death blow for women's sports.

Lil Billie's just yanking y'all around! He's actually got no real opinions...only gibberish and cute little GIFs to entertain the feeble...and coonasses.

Are they calling it Title 8.5 or Title 9.5?

I think a better question would be "when will the American citizens get tired of meddling politicians telling us what to do?"

Did they ever make her take a test to determine gender? Seems like that was a hot topic at one point.

I am guessing the end game here is there will eventually only be one sport and not 2 for gender distinction? Men and women competing together on an even playing field. I mean according to the women's advocacy groups that is all they want. True equality here we come.

They need to just do away with calling them "Mens" and "Womens" sports and refer to them as XX or XY sports. Take it down to the chromosomal level.

If you have a Y chromosome, you are competing against people with Y chromosomes...If you have a penis, tits...whatever you've got...it doesn't matter. If there is a Y there...you are competing with the Ys.

If you do not have a Y chromosome...you are competing against people who don't have Y chromosomes. This takes how you "identify" out of it...It goes from subjective to objective.

Lol. This article is so stupid. There have been laws like this for years in plenty of states and trans people on womens' teams is still not an issue.

Anyone - liberal/conservative or otherwise - would be up in arms if a 6'10 trans center showed up on the opposite team at their daughters BBall game. It's obviously not fair.

As far as I can tell the bill is just referring to not being able to discriminate in the workplace, not empower transgender women to compete against women

Exactly. By no means do I want transgender athletes competing in sports where they aren’t their original gender.

I’m just pointing out that the bill is primarily about discrimination in the workplace. The article seems to indicate 8 Bruce jenner’s are chomping at the bit to join lsu’s track team
