Gus’ scheme has always given Saban trouble. it’s the only reason auburn hired him in the first place.

Not being obtuse. We are talking Bama. If those other coaches fricked up, are we suppose to be impressed because the absence of Saban to match the level of that frick up?

"Georgia would have more losses in the SEC West it's a grind"

"Winning 20 of 21 vs the SEC West isn't that impessive"

Yes, you are supposed to be impressed that Saban has not matched the level of frick up of every coach in modern college football history, including multiple hall of famers with NFL talent bulging rosters and multiple national titles.

Yes. That is impressive. Again, this is like arguing no baseball player is good at hitting because none of them can hit .500.

If your argument is "every coach sucks, none are impressive" then have at it.

The grind comes from the Top 25 teams from the West the last 10 years. The grind in not the threat of getting beat by those non-top 25 teams, but the physical affect of playing those type teams every week. Big difference.

OK, just so you can go to bed. But when you get a chance go over those other teams that lost those games and do a 1st round comparison of each (see OP) starter.

Anytime someone posts the truth, it pushes you bammers over the edge. When SOG posts one of his fact based posts , the circle jerk is epic. When anyone counters with other facts the are perceived to challenge the greatness , we get these type of responses. As they say, facts are facts.

SkyKing, do yourself a BIG favor and just quietly back on out of your thread and chalk it up to "posting before thinking".

Remember the old adage: " When you find that you've dug yourself into a hole.......stop digging"

Facts are facts. 2010 Bama had 9 First rounders that started on that team vs AUs two. In 2013 Bama had 8 vs AUs 2 and in 2017 it was 5 to zero. That is not digging and it is not skewing the facts. The only conclusion that someone could come up with is: Great recruiting, fricked up coaching (from Saban). Nobody from Bama is explaining how that could happen.

So true, but the greatest thing is that AU beating Bama in '17 allowed Gus to bend the AU Administration over a barrel and rape them for a guaranteed 7yr/$49MM contract.

Now Gus can carry on with his 3 losses a year and pull that hefty paycheck while the AU Fans and their Boosters wallow in misery as they call for his head on a platter every single season.

The great 2004 USC team only had 4 First rounders on that roster. How do you lose three games with 9 First Rounders ?

Look back up to the thread title and repeat after me: "I will not try to deflect or change the subject when I realize that I'm wrong"
