I have been to every state in the continental US except for Washington State.

I can say with great confidence that OK is a top 5 state in terms of shitty landscape.

And that fuqing wind…OMG.

My in laws live in Oklahoma, it's basically everything bad about the South (poverty, low education, heat) with none of the good things (hospitality and food) packaged up in a state full of weed dispensaries and toll roads.

I imagine New Orleans and Baton Rouge alone have better tasting food than Texas or Ok.

I thought Alabama was the second most scenically diverse state in the union behind California?

Oklahoma has by far the most diverse terrain per mile in the US and is one of only 4 states with 10 ecoregions. From swamplands to high plains, from low forested mountains to mesas and sand dunes.

Not really, no.

More sunshine. Our trees fade at about the okc/ftworth lines. Less woody weeds to impede the sun. More streamlined. More of that golden sunshine.

Outside of southeast Texas, your trees are considered shrubs by the rest of the world.

Every Mexican restaurant in every small town in Oklahoma serves velveeta queso.

The West is nice. The South is Nice. Everything west of I-35 in Texas and Oklahoma is neither West nor South.

Can’t speak for Texas but almost nobody lives more than 30 miles west of I-35 in Oklahoma anyway. And more accurately that refers to anything west of I-35 okc and north and anything west of I-44 south of OKC.

Well now that's just horseshite. I've never once been served velveeta at a Mexican restaurant anywhere in OK.

So, you really, really, really think your southern plains are nicer looking than the rest of the South?

I've been all over your "southern plains" and, trust me, when God did ugly He did the....southern plains!

Georgia alone is more beautiful than anything you have in Oklahoma or Texas, all four seasons of the year, from the mountains to the ocean!

NORTH GEORGIA IN THE FALL

NORTH GEORGIA IN THE SUMMER

NORTH GEORGIA IN THE SPRING

NORTH GEORGIA IN THE WINTER

GEORGIA'S CUMBERLAND ISLAND

MY GEORGIA HOME!

You didn't even mention what I consider to be the best part. Higher speed limits so I spend less time in them when driving through.
