Huh?

Yes, it's Kristin Saban.

The photo caption on the blog just described them as Alabama co-eds. A comment from an Alabama fan on the blog pointed out who it was - the reporter had no idea the random sorority girls they took a picture of included the head coaches daughter.

Alabama fans have always been good to me, although that has alot to do with half my family being Bama fans and them not giving a shite about us. But yeah, this is almost solely from Alabama putting forth an image so the North won't look down on them. While they can be hospitable, I haven't gotten the impression that they are any more hospitable than any other team in the SEC, especially since I've been to a few Auburn and TN games.

I looked at PSU boards and said the entire ordeal was quiet... the tailgating and especially the stadium. They also mentioned Bama fans being really nice.

Nice to see Southern Hospitality really exists. Ive lived in Chicago, been to New York, and no place I've been even comes close to the douchebags that live in Baton Rouge. Never in my life have I run into more scumbags than there.

I thought I would enjoy living in Baton Rouge when I moved there because I thought they were hospitable. The exact opposite is true. I hated it. I couldn't believe how rude and obnoxious people there are. Props to those that know how to treat other people. Please give the LSU fans lessons.

Bama fans are among the nicest in the country, imho. It's my favorite trip. They usually go out of their way to be nice to LSU fans.

Of course they can afford to buy tickets, so it's a different class of fans than the SEC RANT crowd.

wow this will not end well. A lot of the LSu fans are great it is just the really really drunken ones get all the attention plus alcohol seems to be a big part of the culture here in LA.

i'm not surprised that we did a good job to cater to PSU fans... and don't get me wrong, it's CRUCIAL to make those impressions on people that rarely ever make the trip down to your school. but hearing that compliment from a die hard LSU fan actually means a lot more, because i would NOT have suspected that we do a fantastic job of representing to y'all.

Huh? I would. The vast majority of fans at the game are hospitable and welcoming to people form any school who act the same way. Its the loud, drunken, minority that people usually post on message boards about and who give the rest of us a bad name.

maybe it's the company you keep because i've lived in several places (large and small) and i've met some of the best people i've ever known in baton rouge. i don't plan on leaving anytime soon because i like the city and the people so much.

as far as bama, my '09 experience was quite good. people were cordial and went out of their way to be nice.

i would think there'd be a mob mentality for when auburn fans or tennessee or even lsu fans come into town. they come to town every other year, and i'd expect our jackass fans to be in their 2 year rare form... ready to combat all of the hate towards us!
