South Carolina's basketball fans are the worst in the SEC.

It costs $15 to see that product that they put out on the court. I'd go to games...if it was less than $15 to see shite.

You don't know what you're talking about. You know nothing of our program. Quit acting like you do.

I have season basketball tickets. I'm boycotting the games until they fire Horn.

So, am I a bad fan because I don't support the team by going to the games when the team is bad? Or am I a good fan because I don't put up with bad coaching and losing?

Incidentally, I have really good seats (6 rows behind visitor's bench). If I don't renew, I will lose my priority.

I know that the last two home games you have had LSU and Tennessee you have had pathetic crowds. Why would it change tonight?

3,000 at the absolute most. It was very disappointing.

I'm going probably receive lots of shite from other Gamecock fans for saying this, but that's just as much a reflection of the pitiful following that the sport of basketball receives in this state as anything. I can't stand it. We went 1-10 and 0-11 in football, yet almost every seat was full. Basketball just doesn't gain that much attention, and when it does it's only when we're good. It's safe to say it's a fairweather sport in this state. Sad but true.

I have boycotted Stansbury ball for the past 3 seasons.

Depends. If you live close by, you should go some. I have a three hour drive and it's just not worth going to see a shitty product that embarrasses me but I feel your pain either way.

If we were 2-10 in conference, our crowds would look the exact same.

Maybe it's like that for basketball in general then. I was watching Wake and UNC a few weeks ago when they played at Wake. There were honestly more UNC fans in the stands than there were Wake fans. They're having a shitty year, too, so maybe it's just basketball.

Not a bad fan at all, but would you boycott going to football games if we were that bad? I go no matter our record. I won't let a few 18-20 year-olds' performances determine whether I go to a game or not. I just enjoy going.

Horn is older than that.

And you know I am not a Horn fan, but I do feel bad for the guy.

The final product is on the court, but that's beside my point. It's just obvious basketball doesn't receive the same respect as football.

Circular argument. We could go on for days. I could throw back that Horn doesn't know how or is unable to recruit anything better than Big South talent to the SEC, and that is why the product on the court sucks.

And basketball is third fiddle at SC now... Football, then baseball, then that display we call basketball. And you are right... look back at 2010, there were empty seats in the Dean Dome and that was one year removed from a National Title.

So can we blame it more on the poor reception of the sport rather than poor fan support?
