Sounds like locking down his man is the very definition of doing his job well.

You’re probably the only one that believes Horn has outperformed BT at this stage in their careers.

What's going on with Marshawn Lloyd? I thought for sure he would be starting. Looked like a great prospect. I was bummed when he didn't commit to us.

It's really just a testament to how far Tennessee has fallen (though it really has been awhile hasn't it) that they have to make fun of South Carolina.

oh crap! I might have heard that, but I didn't remember it. I'm sorry to hear it. He can be a really good back. I hope he recovers well.

Doesn't sound like it:
This is from a VOL poster on another board that lives in Columbia that has gotten info over the years on South Carolina:

Disclaimer: I am not in insider but do have couple of buddies who work directly and consistently with the USC coaches in all sports and to a lesser degree with some players, especially married athletes. And occasionally parents. One is especially astute at picking up things. So, take this for what it is worth.
Several days ago I posted that SC was going to get creative on offense, beyond what Bobo may have shown before. That info came primarily from players talking. But now it seems to have more legs. It is really hard to keep secrets when over 100 people are involved.
It looks like the transfer QB is going to be the starter, primarily because he knows Bobo's system. Hilinski is probably going to be fine with that, at least for the time being as he knows he will play. That is today, tomorrow may be different.
SC coaches are worried about their offense. That had pinned a lot of hope on the 5 star frosh running back who was clearly the best they had from the time he walked on the field. But he is out for the season. A starter on the OL, which was nothing to write home about to begin with, has opted out because of the virus. Concern is they will have a hard time protecting the QB, getting a running game going, and their receivers are not elite to say the least, and they have no depth there.
So, look for new wrinkles in the Bobo offense. They hope to play with as much speed as possible and think the transfer gives them the best chance at that but look for "trickeration" and mis-direction, quick passes, screens, etc. to try to compensate for a weak OL, receiving group, and question marks at running back. Of course, that backfires if you go 3 and out. And in the first game in a new system the chance for mistakes and penalties rises.
They are depending on a better defense to carry the day and may take some risks to try to get interceptions. The feeling with the coaches is they are not going to score much against us so if they win it will be done by defense. That is probably true but they also lost a lot on that side of the ball.
