No need for that. Just wear a mask and social distance.

That’s actually a very big difference

Numbers yeah but not in the scheme of preventing the virus. Numbers don't matter.

I've said from day one that if this shite was as real as they claimed then a FULL stop would have actually occurred back in March/April

Instead we went half in half out on protective measures and open/closed stuff.

Bottom line is that this virus is contagious but only really deadly to elderly. They can stay at home

This makes no sense. Americans are too selfish to do such a thing.

It is not hard to reduce tickets. Just rank your season ticket holders in order 1-75,000 (or whatever) and assign 2 tickets to the top whatever numbers.

Make 2020 irrelevant to purchasing tickets after the pandemic.

If LSU has to do this, I hope they reserve 1000 seats for player/coaches families, 500 to visiting team, and the rest to LSU students.

There's likely a thread about it but the Baltimore Ravens are suggesting 14,000 for their games

No evidence of this and, in fact, multiple studies indicate that’s it’s highly unlikely.

As does good ole common sense
Can you link me to this science? Because that doesn't sound like common sense at all.

Why in the world can't they just take temps at the games? They do this at my gym every time I come in. Takes a couple of seconds. Anyone?

those laser thermometers suck. After being in the sun all day I bet there would be a bunch of pissed off people when they are told they can’t go in because it read high

That’s a problem. Not enough decent people that care

Or maybe, just maybe, the at risk people should be taking the precautions and staying home. It's not that people don't care, they just have lives to live.

And each of those people dying is terribly sad. I hate it for them and their families.

Attributing evil and lack of empathy in the form of declaring “you don’t care about Americans dying” is disingenuous. Of course we care about people dying. But we, as a country, can’t survive if we’re going to lock down every time a couple thousand people in a country of 370 million people get a virus that has a 99.5% survival rate.

It goes back to a simple principle. If you’re worried about catching it or giving it to someone, then stay at home. If you’re willing to assume the risk, then go out. I’ll wear my mask when I think it’s necessary, you can wear yours when you think the same.

The point is you can live a life while wearing a mask, but too many refuse to be a decent person, and football might be cancelled over it

When you feel sick, when you’re coming in contact with people (line to get food, grocery stores, working in close contact with others etc.) or when your indoors in an enclosed space where social distancing is not possible (at an office).

I don’t need one outdoors, I don’t need one by myself in my car, I don’t need one when I’m where I live. And I don’t need you or anybody else to tell me that I do when common sense tells me I don’t.

Of course. The problem is people not wearing them in these places.......

An increase in false positives is correct. They check my son everyday before football practice and he is always elevated standing out in sun.
