Told Kelly "Congratulations on finding your fairy godmother" and basically asked if he felt bad about leaving the way he did and if it'd affect his legacy.

I'm sure their was a fist fight to be the person sent from South Bend to BR in early December.

South Bend is already shitty enough, I don't even want to imagine their winters.

ND fans are mad. Just like the Aggys and Gumps on here who hoped LSU would hire Stoops or BoB.

I mean is there a better way to do it? A job you want has come calling:

-If you put them on hold, they’ll find someone else

-If you try and keep it a secret, it’ll 100% be leaked anyway

-If by some miracle you taking the job is kept a secret, you still look like an a-hole for leading players and recruits on. Also people blame you for any bowl or playoff loss

Truth is, people are more mad that he left than how he left

Sounds like that bammer news outlet that sent a loon to College Station to harass Fran when he went to A&M.

I've said I before and I'll say it again for about the 10th time: LSU fans who think the smack talk they've read on this board are "melts" need to go check out the Notre Dame boards.

What's hilarious is that you actually think Alabama fans are "mad" over this hire.

I clicked on one and it was one of the worst formatted sites I have ever visited. I eventually gave up trying to navigate it.

As a Tiger fan, I certainly do not think that Bama fans are mad over this hire. However, I don't think anyone with half a brain would deny LSU will be better in the next few years than they have been with the previous two morons. This hire is going to make life harder for everyone in the west. But I don't think Nick Saban is shaking in his boots either.

How does this make LSU better? This may be the new normal for you all.

To be fair, outside of the NFL.... Has anyone really made Saban "quake in his boots"? It's kinda the nature of the GOAT to bend everyone over after they smack talk. They might get a slug or two in or trip you up, but in 10 fights you'll tear them to shreds 9/10 times.

A drunk, man whoring shrimp boat captain beat you with 3rd stringers. Think about that.

Then think about Brian Kelly.

Nick Saban is picking out places for where he wants to retire. Bama squeaked through the west in a down year with REC help and are about to get embarrassed by Georgia. Plus another loss in whatever meaningless bowl they make.

Saban knows that LSU has a real coach now and they are about to run shite.
