A hire based solely on him giving Alabama a tough time two years in a row isn't going well?

Who knew?

Our portal class was lowly rated by some and I'd say it wound up as one of the best based off of on the field production.

- 1 starting ILB
- 2 starting DL

- 1 starting TE
- 2 starting OL

Additional good depth players at WR, OL, DL and DB.

As long as the big money boosters/people stay out of the way and allow Golesh to build this program he will have this program rolling.

Now that ALL Teams can buy players, AU can't even have a winning season.

These are the facts and they are documented.

They haven't won more than 6 games since 2019. Wtf happened?
The money that could have been available for NIL has been spent on Gustav, Idaho guy, and Freezus plus their staffs.

I don't think auburn is an elite level program or anything, but they're top 15 historically.

The fact they are working on losing season #6 in a row is actually pretty amazing. A whole generation of auburn students haven't even witnessed a winning season while on campus.

FWIW...I think they go 6-6 in the regular season and breaking the streak will come down to another epic Birmingham Bowl clash. They're so lucky Baylor came up a literal inch short.

I don't know. I'm no AU fan but they were bad last year and the few good players they had all left. They did not hire Golesh until 2 weeks before signing day, and their class ranked 32'nd (team score 225, Bama 302 for comparison). He may turn out to be terrible but none of that was his fault, we'll see.

Their "issue" is their G6-caliber roster - only money will solve that.

Why not post on Rivals instead of bringing that slop here?
