Its not our fault Kentucky, Tennessee, and South Carolina can't get votes.

One of those is not like the other two.

15 is not a lot, but it's something.

LSU posters should stay away from "aint played no one" chatter.

Like Alabama should stay away from “fake field goal” attempts.

Clemson should be lining up a minimum of 3 Power Conference OOC opponents until the ACC proves its capable of producing a half decent counter to Clemson in league play. Otherwise, your opening your program up for ridicule during the regular season.

Ridicule from the Rant? Who cares?

Why would Clemson (or any school with a soft schedule by your definition) self-impose penalties that no one else does? Clemson has two SEC OOC teams on the schedule. They can't make GT or FSU great teams again.

You brag about how tough and great the SEC is; well, this is what comes from that. Clemson didn't make UGA or UofSC join the SEC.

Be happy with your also-ran status and collect those checks.

This is the price we pay for being in the best conference. If you dont like it, petition your school to go to the ACC,PAC OR BIG12...

My bad, and your right, 15 votes count.

My point is that, while Mizzou's SOS is weak, using AP preseason votes as a measuring stick for strength of schedule is not a very accurate approach.

I agree. I think every team should take the easy road to the playoffs if they can. It only makes sense.

Stated another way, has the SEC sent its annual candygram to Alabama? You should be happy about these kinds of problems, because that is what their consistent greatness has wrought.

So clemson beats A&M and goes undefeated

A&M doesnt lose another game

You saying A&M should make it over them?

They would both get in obviously because both of them would have won their conferences, with the team with one loss having won the SEC, not to mention their only loss with have been on the ROAD to the #1 team in the country.

Their schedule also opens up their program for an annual trip to the CFP so why the hell should they do anything different?

So how many other non-SEC teams besides Clemson have purposely scheduled two OOC games from the greatest conference in the land for the past 10 years? (The only exception being 2015 when Notre Dame replaced a SEC opponent).
Yes, the ACC sucks now, but who knew FSU, Miami, and VT would all suck at the same time?

Take away the points LSU got from the "Bama Boost" to get 3576....which would be ranked 6th overall in the top 25 and still well more than Alabama's 2731.

ETA: Do the same for the top 6, and they ALL still have a theoretical higher SOS than Alabama. This is after taking the Alabama game completely off their schedule.

Misread the OP. I see that's just the Top 25.

Also, UVA (random ACC team) says hello.
