So LSU tampered. Got it.

gotcha, couldn't remember if they changed that or not. Yeah, I'd keep them out of the rankings all year and make them sue for collusion. Just blow the whole fricking thing up because it's going that way regardless

That ship has sailed over the horizon and is never coming back. Legal recourse is a joke.

It would be a fricking movie.

For these circumstances I wouldn’t have an issue. From what I understand, the NCAA participates in suppling info for sports gambling by supplying information to sports books. The NCAA has been a joke for a while now.

You mean other than the phone call of him saying he's convinced Lacy to follow him to LSU?
Did Lacy follow him?

So LSU signed a kid who was under a binding contract and enrolled in class, against NCAA rules...
It's not against NCAA rules, if you pay the buyout.

lmao sure you wouldn't. That's the response I was hoping for.

They won’t play us. When they left the Big 12 there was an agreement (verbal) to play Tech in all sports. You can see what their word means. The SEC will figure out pretty soon (if not already) that ut is only concerned about ut.

Tampering is tampering, whether he follows or not. Lane specifically said he convinced Lacy to follow him. Whether he actually followed or not is irrelevant in terms of the tampering rules.

It just means you didn't breach NIL rules.

Sure, but if Lane says he has convinced Lacy to follow him and Lacy doesn't, either Lacy wasn't actually convinced and lied to Lane or Lane was just joking around, which is what was said about that exchange.

NIL has nothing to do with revenue share buyouts.

LOL. You’re talking about the SEC - hardly pristine in their actions. You guys have been dirty forever. Everyone knows that.

They provide what the NFL does, a weekly injury report released by the schools

I rarely say these words, but hopefully Congress passes legislation ASAP. This using the courts to literally circumvent any rules and get anything they want has to stop. Can people with functioning brain cells not just take a step back and see this insane lunacy going on in college athletics?
Up next...the first team out of the cfp suing the committee. Judge Buford in Podunk USA issues an injunction to prevent "irreparable harm" to the aggrieved school's financial interests.

Why would we do anything that benefits your trashy school? We don't need you. I wish you didn't so clearly need us.
Who's next? You going to cry about the Aggies refusing to play you? Why would they? Neither of us see you as a rival.
This is an SEC board. Why the frick are you even here? You're not going to convince anyone that this is good for college football no matter how desperately you try.

Congress is the ultimate rules for thee but not for me. Nothing will be solved there they haven't passed a budget in 20 years.

no. you realize that injury reports started getting released to prevent the mob/bookies from paying for that type of information from people within the organizations right? They're not working in concert with gambling entities by doing that. Quite the opposite actually.

Just add a Congressional pay increase amendment to the legislation...guaranteed unanimous bipartisan support.
