The embarrassing part is all of Bama rejoiced in that uncomfortable commitment ceremony....

Meanwhile O was happy as can be “Got the best player out of Amite”. ......Y’all will see said player playing LB for LSU for the next few years....

I don’t know about any rumors, but I caught hell for saying that I would rather have Siaki Ika instead of Sopsher

Just like we won out getting Jamal instead of Hootie - we won out getting Ika instead of Sopsher! Not even mad about it. Bunch of wasted $$$ for bama though

When was the last time Georgia beat Bama? I imagine Georgia is wasting a lot more money than anyone...Don’t they have the most expensive recruiting budget in the SEC?

LSU fans have this weird shiity deal of wanting kids to fail that dont chose to go to LSU, it is a really bad look Tiger fans.

These are kids and all of them dont want to go to college an hour from home, some want to get out and see the world.

Yeah I’m sure you hope that every player who picks Ole Miss over State wins the Heisman and gets drafted first overall. Clown

That is a bit diferent than hoping they fail, get arrested, drop out of school or any of the other nonsense you see posted on the reg.

Not just this kid but Speedy at A&M, the safety at Bama whatever his name was, and many more, no other fanbase wants young men from their state to fail or celebrates in it like LSU fans, it is just weird.

Wonder if they took the charger back

Stars mean nothing
Saban probably fires the dline recruiter with sopsher and Alfano

For the first time In 8 years LSU had a better dline

Plus saban is a lousy dB coach

There’s definitely some bitterness dating back to their recruitment, but it’s not solely because they chose another school.

Georgia just signed Van Pran from New Orleans. He was a highly rated OL that LSU desperately wanted. LSU fans were disappointed, but the vast majority that followed his recruitment respected his decision. Why? Because he handled it the right way. He was upfront about his desire to go out of state, and didn’t create unnecessary drama or controversies during the process.

There’s been a lot of guys like Van Pran over the years, There have also been recruits that are involved with shady characters, create drama, some are dishonest, or announce a flip to another school at the last moment even though they made that decision weeks beforehand.

It’s those types of recruits that fans have bitterness towards. It’s also those types that pop up down the road because they flameout or get into trouble, and LSU fans are quick to jump on the pile and remind everyone of their red flags when they were being recruited. It’s still sorry behavior, but it isn’t blind hatred because he didn’t choose their favorite school.

It is sad that a certain fan base of grown adults(assuming here) take so much interest in a HS kid and become so angry when he decides to go elsewhere. I understand that many follow recruiting but never understood the emotional investment that LSU fans carry especially when a kid picks UA over LSU or any kid that decides to leave the boot.

Even that still does not compare to the sad obsession to follow said recruit once they join a team and continue to stalk their career with hopes that they fail to gain some satisfaction for being rejected in the beginning.

Never understood the obsession.

For real. How can you blame a kid for wanting to leave home for a few years? They owe nothing to LSU or Louisiana.

You're 1-9 vs Bama in the last ten games. Simmer down.
