100% agree. Gladly take this type of heat wave every year if it meant avoiding hurricanes.

It's the opposite here in Central Florida. I can't remember the last day we didn't have thunderstorms. For months now.

That's not too abnormal though, but it feels slightly more frequent and heavier this year. Sunny early in the day, thunderstorms in the evening.

The crazy part is we are still in a drought at the same time somehow. I guess because it was really this past winter, spring and even into the start of summer.

I remember it as pledges don't drink if so just a single beer.
