As much fun as I poke at the Aggies, a couple of their jocks came to my rescue. Many years ago when I was 17 and working part time on weekends as a painter. A few of us went into the Dixie Chicken. A dare came up on a rumor about band Corp members. I took the dare and went across campus, painting one white hand on their statues. After painting three, I got caught. 5 Corp members jumped me and beat the snot out of me. The only thing that stopped them was a few of the jocks came out and told them to quit and for me to haul arst. I still had to go to the hospital but so did a couple of them. But things could have been way worse. I thank those jocks who helped me. Young and dumb!
