Someone explain to me why I should even care about MSU Football?

Timeline:
2017
Moorhead is hired
Moorhead decides not to coach the 2017 Taxslayer Bowl
KT starts and wins the bowl game against a Lamar Jackson led Louisville team. MSU was led by Head Coach Greg Knox and a bunch of grad assistants while Louisville had Bobby Petrino.
2018
KT starts Moorheads first game vs FCS SFA and only plays one more snap at QB this entire season after this game.
Moorhead loses his first game in the SEC to Kentucky only scores 7 points on a team MSU scored 45 against in 2017 and, a team Mullen went 8-1 against.
Moorhead loses to Mullen at home with a more talented team and only scores 6 points.
Moorhead loses to LSU after a BYE and keeps Fitzgerald the entire game in while throwing 5 INTs and only scores 3 points
Moorhead wins 4 of his last 5 regular season games, but scores 0 points against Alabama and only defeated mediocre teams like Texas A&M and Arkansas.
Moorhead loses the Outback Bowl to Iowa with yet another putrid performance
2019
With Fitzgerald graduated KT is named the starter
Tommy Stevens transfers over and is named captain/starter
KT enters the transfer portal but stays on with the team.
Moorhead names Shrader backup QB to Stevens.
MSU loses to Kansas State at home.
MSU loses to Auburn in a game that featured a delay of game on the first play of the game, and MSU got down 21-0 in 6 minutes.
MSU loses to Tennessee and the fanbase starts to call for Moorhead to be fired.
MSU plays LSU vs a weak crowd in which more LSU fans showed up and LSU wins as if it's a scrimmage.
MSU gets destroyed by Texas A&M, ending MSUs 3 Game winning streak over the Aggies and was the only bowl eligible team A&M defeated in the Reg season.
MSU destroys 2 win Arkansas.
MSU failed to kickoff a ball, and got down 14-0 in 2 minutes to Alabama at home with more Alabama fans in the stadium.
MSU is currently at 4-6
The Athletic Department puts out to the media that Moorhead is on the hot seat and that going 6-6 might not be good enough.
MSU beats the FCS team and a 4 win Ole Miss team by a missed extra point by Ole Miss.
Moorhead tells MSU Fans to go kick rocks and to drag his yankee arse out.
The athletic department extends Moorhead.
A fight between Willie Gay and Garrett Shrader during a bowl practice knocks Shrader of the bowl game.
MSU loses to Louisville 38-28 and allows 31 unanswered points.

Why the frick should i Care about a program who only cares about beating a mediocre Ole Miss team.
We should literally disband our football program because it would be much cheaper than wasting money on this BS

I've been a fan through the last days of Sherrill and Croom. I've NEVER felt the program as dead as I do right now.

We went through this for 3 years of Luke. The most frustrating thing to me wasn't us losing games, it was the apathy around the program and everyone in charge seemed ok with topping out at 7-8 wins. Eventually State will fire Moorhead and hire someone that will rejuvenate the fanbase. Pain is temporary

Look at it this way,
A 6-7 year that ended in the Music City Bowl is just as significant as A1abana's year that is ending in the Citrus Bowl.
In other words, State is in the same position as A1abana.
