Well, going by the “punishment” Michigan received for similar antics, we’re going to be just fine.

State loves those seasons where they win the Egg Bowl and both teams finish with losing records.
It’s the most detestable and pathetic thing I’ve ever seen.
Then, when we win some games, they are the first to try to drag us down to our place. Who does OM think they are? They are trying to be top tier.
Even Vanderbilt is striving for greatness. You don’t even want it and I have zero respect for that.

They didn't have to hack Lebby's playbook. Ole Miss was the better team by far. Better players, better coaches.

The last time State tried this, they managed to rat on Ole Miss for paying a player that was actually on their team…one that, it turned out, they were also paying.
The NCAA was doing their Freeze era investigation in Oxford and was pretending to try to do their enforcement when State fans dropped this in their lap.
By the time it was done, they found 7 SEC schools had paid Leo to come there. The NCAA stalled as the visible investigation was in Oxford. That’s when the Laremy Tunsil draft night event came out of nowhere.
Due to the level of public scandal, we took the bullet for the entire conference. The official report is redacted of all the other SEC schools involved.
It became toxic and Mullen hit the road to Florida.
I will give them this- it must be hard to think about these complexities with an MSU education.

Would be funny but Starkville people have a pretty awful track record when it comes to accusing other SEC teams of doing stuff. The original post about this was from some whacko Starkville fan blogger as well.
