Most people will have to stay in towns outside Austin. You think prices in Tuscy are bad? Try bidding against European celebs and royals for a Hotel room in Austin lol. Also,good luck with the traffic on gameday, half the state of California moved to the area the past 3 years.

I made a last minute (Monday of game week) decision to go to Bama-LSU in 2021. Got lucky on some good North Zone seats but hotels were insane and nearly impossible to find. I regrettably paid almost $400 for the Motel 6 dump on McFarland south of I59-20. Pretty sure some drug deals went down while we were there.

Hey, I grew up in Alabama, lived in SC a couple of years, and am thankfully back in Alabama. You can keep SC and everything about it, do not want anymore of that.

I took my granddaughter to a non conference game in Tuscaloosa in November. One hamburger and fries was about $25 with no drink. Yes they have to pay for the overpriced Saban coaching a ballgame to folks that probably do not even attend class. No I will not return
