Your current coach is a documented pedophile who is 1-12 against ranked teams.

Hard to overstate what an upgrade Franklin would be.

I doubt he would consider Auburn though as he will have better options. You're delusional if you can't see it.

What if I told you Franklin was going to go 104-45 at barn? You wouldn't take him? Because that's what he was at PennSt. He is the coach who proved you could win at Vandy.

I'll say this with almost certainty:

Franklin would NEVER start 0-4 in conference play.

He was 18-8 his last two seasons at Vandy.

Barn would kill for 18-8 over the next two seasons.

I'd take Big Game James if its a no on Kiffin, Fisch and Golesh.
I sure would.

James Franklin will be a better coach at a school that’s more attractive to recruits than PSU. Some of you want to act like JF isn’t a top 10 coach in college football. If we’re talking about those coaches who haven’t won a natty JF is top 3.

JF has proven more than Fisch or Golesh.

JF’s race is seemingly an issue because it can’t be his numbers and track record in the 2 major conferences in the sport. Of the coaches who are available who haven’t won a natty JF has to be top 3 if not #1.

If Auburn played Penn State's schedule, they'd be in the top 5 right now.

When he was fired they were 3-3 with losses to UCLA, Northwestern and Oregon, with Ohio State and Indiana still left to play. They were not getting 8 wins this year. Regardless 8 wins is not going to cut it at any school that wants to be elite

Franklin started 0-3 in conference before they fired him. They then lost to Iowa and are now 0-4

And those Auburn fans think Franklin is a much better coach than Brian Kelly. Kelly is never going to win a Natty and is likely just a 9-3 coach at LSU, but he would never lose to arguably the worst P4 program (UCLA) like Franklin did.

With that offense?

Oregon would beat them by 20.
UCLA beats them
Iowa probably wins 6-3

I can see Franklin at North Carolina once they inevitably jetison the Belichick shite show.

Unless the Penn State admins are idiots, they set up Franklin's buyout to be mitigated by future salary. Then Auburn could pay him a ridiculously low salary, because he wouldn't losing money. Auburn could get him for pennies on the dollar.

Penn State fired the best coach on the market. Who are they trying to get?
