Nice use of admitting to a crime and then telling the people to "get over it."

Yall mother frickers held us all damn night last weekend. It was a poorly officiated game, in your favor, and we still whooped your asses.

Congratulations on your win.

The bottom line is that the blue bloods of this conference will be protected. It's about revenue, and Bama being successful financially benefits everyone.

You are correct. The only way to stop this protection racket is to hit the SEC where it hurts the most, in the pocket book. So the only way to stop this is for the Presidents of the University's to call his/her AD to order his team to call a time out and walk off the field during a game to protest the SEC refs fixing/manipulation of the score of that game. This will become the News and cost the TV network money which will cost the SEC money. If most University's agree to this beforehand and send the notice to Slimy, I mean Sankey, then maybe there will be a come to Jesus meeting with the SEC Referees. It want take but one or two tv walkout games to bring the SEC conference to its knees. Advertising will not want to purchase time slots knowing that any game could end in a walkout at any time. That's how I would handle it, but I am from a union family and Strikes do work if loss of money and bad Press is used as a vice on management (SEC).

I'm thinking it's more about ineptness than bias. Most of the crews seem lost out there sometimes.

It's about a flawed game that has never and can never be properly officiated. You want games decided by players only? Then watch baseball or soccer.

Mistakes happen. Refs are human.

And then there’s college football referees.

They don’t even go for the “refs are human too” angle. They just tell you what you saw was wrong and here’s why it was/wasn’t called

This was just as dumb when Matt Austin said it. Of course he can't change his angle when he's BEING HELD.

I dont think there is any way to fix the issues. Maybe do like the nfl does with the PI challenge. You give the coach the ability to challenge any call.

There needs to be an outside accounting firm review each game and every call as the season goes on. At the end of the year, the worst official at each position needs to be fired. That would solve a lot of it.

LSU coach was literally caught in recording paying a player yet this is wrong

Incorrect answer has nothing to do with officiating. If you want to talk about cheating, list historical data listing schools and violations.

LMAO I give you the LSU fanbase.

Fook it - just get rid of all of them - and have maybe one just call for offsides and delay of game - other that - Go fill prison rules. Bet you viewership would double

I do think the refs get caught up in the emotion, and they're probably not exactly objective outsiders. I'd kinda like to see a more national approach to refereeing, like a swap between the Big 10 and SEC for big games.

Bob from Ohio doesn't have a favorite in the Alabama/LSU game, and Joe from Georgia doesn't care who wins Penn State/Ohio State. They don't "anticipate" some home team making a great play, or that the road team has to be holding to get a first down. And they don't have to worry about their neighbors in the back of their minds.
