EZE tiger is spot on. You simply can't take it too seriously anymore, and simply have to expect Shenanigans.

My favorite part now is having Matt Austin come on the TV to tell you what you saw wasn't real.

This is the part that is just insane to me. Not only in the Bama UT game, but multiple times in the SC game, this guy comes on air and tells you with a straight face that the ridiculous call you just saw makes perfect sense and he would have made the same call.

The SC DB was held the entire length of the field and the guy literally said "it seemed like he was happy running beside the WR" who was holding him.

Not only do they know it is rigged, but they now have a guy whose only role is to tell you to your face.

No dog in the fight but the angle at which he’s pulling the Jersey is away from the runner.

You obviously have a dog in the fight for you to say this. The defenders running angle NEVER changed. he ran at the same angle down the field and the UF blocker was in between him and the ball carrier. Grabbing of the jersey didn't change that.

In the NFL it used to be perfectly legal for cornerbacks to hold receivers jerseys as long as they didn't impede their routes. The NFL ended up changing that 3 years ago and will now flag a defender for grabbing the jersey of a receiver. However, a receiver can grab the cornerbacks jersey when downfield blocking. Sounds like a double standard but that's the current rules.

You’re actually defending that hold

Bring up the 1st quarter calls that went our way like the other Florida fans and save yourself from this stupidity.

Just wait until pass interference (or lack thereof) becomes reviewable.

How about pay the refs more, a lot more. Attract better quality.

The refs missed a call that you wanted and a day later you're crying like a little bitch. Then you whine about a holding call that was not a hold by definition. You look like a child playing Monday morning QB.

In all seriousness, one solution is to greatly decrease the booth reviews.

Only allow the replay booth to buzz in if one of the following occurs:

-Scoring Play
-Turnover
-ballcarrier down within 1 yard of down marker
-targeting call
-catch near the sideline
-diving catch

Allow the coach up to 4 challenges and allow challenges of pass interference (uncatchable ball).

So you admit that calls went your way and you have the fricking nerve to bitch about calls? Are you sick in the damn head?

I don't need to bring up the calls that you admit went YOUR way because I'm not a hypocritical child. I'll just guide your dumb arse to the scoreboard.

Just about everyone who isn’t a Florida fan or a referee in Williams Brice yesterday knows it was a hold. It was a hold. I just want good officiating. Don’t you want good officiating?

We talk about refs EVERY. SINGLE. GAME. Last weekend it was Florida fans bitching about the refs but now that they’ve benefitted the tune has changed.

Don’t be a hypocrite. If we continue to eat the shite the refs feed us nothing will ever happen.

What Florida fan bitched about the refs last week? Maybe in the game thread but a reasonable UF fan knows that LSU was the better team that day. I thought it was a well officiated game last week.

You are the definition of a hypocrite. You admit that USC had multiple CALLS that benefited your team. Then when a call benefited UF, now you want to say the refs were biased??? Then you use a play that you think went against USC when by the actual rule it was not a hold. You won't research and learn, you'll just keep blaming the refs when it's you that's wrong/misinformed.

Have a pool of referees that are not affiliated with any conference or geographical region that are chosen at random on Mondays of each game week. Have a process something like pulling lottery balls out of a bowl with no set crews. Once the selections are made, keep them sequestered until after the games.

Referees get Sundays off and also enjoy two bye weeks during the season to spend time with their families. Problem solved.

It was a hold dude. I don’t know why you keep trying to argue that it wasn’t.

I’ve always admitted that we got calls in the first quarter. And I’ve also brought up the fact that none of those 3-4 calls were on scoring plays in the 2nd half. There’s a massive difference.

Quit defending the hold. You just look silly. You gonna say that wasn’t a pick play either?

Good grief, do you not remember getting tons of favorable calls even against Bama when LSU was at the top of the conference?

Eliminate all coaches challenges.

Have One eye in the sky to review any bad or no call he wants.

It must be done in a timely fashion. It doesn’t take 10 effing minutes to do this.

Keeps the flow of the game moving.

We all see the replays on tv.

The technology is a available to put this into practice next week.

Then begin the process of eliminating as many human officials as possible.

The technology is available with cameras and computers to officiate a game.

The bottom line is that the blue bloods of this conference will be protected. It's about revenue, and Bama being successful financially benefits everyone.
